Pizza box!

Good morning!
Today's project is an oldie but a goodie!  How fitting that it was created with the Retro Fresh product suite! This adorable mini pizza box is sure to delight!  It's filled with an assortment of miniature chocolates and the box itself measures in at right around 4".  So it's not very big at all!

I didn't take a picture of the candy inside the box before I tied it shut.  I'm sorry!  Don't know what I was thinking there!  Here is a picture of the bow holding the box closed:

Make a wish!

Hello there!
WOW!  What a Monday! It was a busy day at the doctor's office (work) and at home!  I'm not complaining though!  Being busy sure does make the day go by quickly!  Unfortunately since I was exhausted after work-I only made a quick and simple card to share.  It was created using the Simply Stars and Perfect Pennants stamp sets.
Definitely nothing fancy but sometimes less is more!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great Tuesday!

Something old made something new!

Good morning!
Did you all enjoy your weekend?  Mine was great but I was SUPER busy!  Saturday started off with a trip to my favorite store!  IKEA!  I swear I could spend hours in that place! (and I actually did but unintentionally.....don't ever go to IKEA on the weekend- it's beyond insane in there!)  I'm sad to say that IKEA has chosen to discontinue my favorite bookcase- the Expedit series.  There will be a new bookcase released soon and it will be similar to the Expedit but a little different. So if you're like me and love the Expedit bookcases- you better stock up while you can!

My project today is an 8" x 10"  frame made from old reclaimed barn wood and some chicken wire. Something old made something new!  This beautiful frame was purchased at Hobby Lobby (all their frames are 50% off everyday which made this particular frame $12.49)   I removed the back and the glass.  Then using a staple gun- I attached some chicken wire to the back of the frame.  The flowers from the Burlap and Blooms Simply Created Wreath kit are my embellishments.  I LOVE the circle flowers and it's quite possible that I have an addiction to them.  I have been making them all day for various other projects!  So fun to make!

I needed to add some pictures for my frame so I borrowed some of my daughter's tiny Instagram prints.  I love them! These tiny little prints are so much fun!!  They are attached to the chicken wire with Mini Clothespin's that came in the Tag-a-Bag accessory kit in the full length Catalog.

Ingredients:
Burlap and Blooms Simply  Created Kit, Tag-a-Bag Accessory Kit, frame, chicken wire, glue gun, staple gun

Masculine Birthday

Happy Friday!
Are you as excited about the end of the week as I am?  For some reason this week seemed to drag on and on.  Thankfully it's at a close and the weekend is just around the corner!  I could use a little break!

The card I have to share today was created for my son's friend for his birthday.  Overall I like how it came out but it was a challenge for me.  I don't typically make many masculine cards.  I'm all about the girly stuff!

Card Stock:  Midnight Muse, Gumball Green, Whisper White
DSP:  Brights DSP Stack
Stamps:  Simply Stars, Banner Greetings
Inks:  Gumball Green, Real Red, Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit

Flowers!

Good morning!
How long has it been since you used your Floral Frames Framelits?  If you're like me- you've probably been so busy playing with the new items from the Occasions Mini and Sale-a-Bration catalogs that the items in the full length catalog have been tossed aside.  I am guilty as charged!
As I was looking through my supplies- I came across a package of Creped Filter Paper.  I figured it was time to pull the Floral Frames Framelits out and start making some flowers!  I'm so over winter and am definitely ready for spring.  This pretty flower reminds me of times to come!

I think one of my favorite papers in the catalog is the Creped Filter Paper.  I love that I can dye it any color I want and it's thin enough so that framelits can cut multiple layers at once.  I think I better start hoarding the Creped Filter Paper so that I never run out!

Card Ingredients
Card Stock:  Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
Stamps:  Loving Thoughts
Ink:  Crumb Cake, Melon Mambo re-inker, Daffodil Delight re-inker, Pink Pirouette re-fill
Tools/other supplies:  Stampin' Trimmer, Big Shot, Ampersand Embossing Folder, Envelope Punch Board (used for a corner rounder), Creped Filter Paper, Stampin' Spritzer, Floral Frames Framelits, Gold Sequin Trim, 1/2" Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon, 1/8" Silver Brad, Paper Piercing Tool, Glue Dots, SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals

Hi there!
I haven't shared this little bit of information on my blog yet but I suppose today's the day!  It started last Wednesday when I began my new job.  I have once again joined the workforce!  I am thrilled!  It's good to be back and earning another paycheck!
Right now you're probably asking yourself why did she name this post "It's a baby"?  Well- to make a long story short- while I was in the interview for my new job- I was asked what I like to do in my spare time.  So needless to say I said papercrafting!  Then my potential new employer and I got to talking about a cards for a baby shower.  I said I've got the perfect card!

These cards were pretty popular a few years ago but I still think they are absolutely adorable!

Monday Montage 13

Hello there and welcome back for the bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop.  You should have arrived here from the wonderful Cathy Casey's blog.  If not and I'm your first stop- no worries! Simply use the back/next buttons at the bottom of this post to navigate your way around the hop.  Trust me- you won't be disappointed!

When I first started making my wishlist from the Occasions Mini  back in December, it was extremely long.  Needless to say that I had to trim some items off until I could put in another order.  I wasn't sure what to take of my list first but one of the items ended up being the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  Boy was that a big mistake!  I just got the punch in my order this past Friday and let me just say WOW!  I LOVE this punch!  It is so much fun to use!  Lots of possibilities for cards, tags, 3-dimensional items and everything in between!  How did I ever live without this punch?

My card tonight is not my original design and I'm not exactly sure whose it is as I have seen it on so almost every blog I visit!  I didn't really think I needed the Scalloped Tag Topper punch until I saw this style card.  I LOVE it!  Such a fun addition and of course super easy to create!

For my card, I used the Retro Fresh DSP and the Peechy Keen Stamp set.  They both coordinate perfectly! My bow was created using the Gold Baker's Twine which can also be found in the Occasions Mini. Unfortunately when I placed my last order I forgot to order more Baked Brown Sugar card stock.  Sorry about that!  I know Soft Suede is not part of the Retro Fresh product suite but I think it's close enough!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my card!  Please clock the next button below to visit the amazing Dara Gloden!  I know she has something fabulous in store!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day stampin' friends!
WOW!  I totally thought I was done making Valentine's and Valentine's treats.  I had a feeling last night that my son was going to decide he wanted treats for his friends!  He's not in elementary school any more so he doesn't exchange cards or hand out treats really.  Since so much of school has been cancelled this year- the candy-grams were cancelled as no one was at school to buy them.
I needed something that would be quick and easy to create and this time- it was the Mini Milk Carton Die to the rescue!  These are super simple- just die cut, assemble, and decorate!

It took me just about an hour to whip up 20 of these cuties!  They are filled with chocolates because everyone knows it wouldn't be Valentine's Day without chocolate!

Enjoy your day!

I do have a card to share with you today.  It's created using the Perfect Pennants stamp set and the Banner Framelits.  It's a quick card to put together so if you need something in a jiffy- here you go!

Good morning!
I have a quick project to share with you today.  This fun card was created on Very Vanilla card stock featuring the Retro Fresh Washi Tape for the base layer.
When I first started creating this card- it was created without any ribbon or twine.  Even though it looked fine, I felt it needed something.  The Gold Baker's Twine was the perfect addition!  The sentiment was stamped in Tangerine Tango ink an cut out using the Starburst Framelits.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Oh happy day!

Hello friends!
It was another busy but fun filled Monday here in Monroe, MI.  I spent the majority of the day in my craft room creating!  I generally have quite a bit of time to stamp but it just seems like I never have enough time to get what I need done finished.
I've been playing with the Retro Fresh product suite and I gotta admit- I love it!  It's so fun and versatile!  Here is one of the cards I created!

My favorite element on this card is the Natural 5/8" Chevron ribbon.  It's super easy to work with and looks great!  This is actually the first card that I used the Chevron ribbon on.  It will definitely be making another appearance soon!

Hello friend

Good morning!
Happy Monday!  I hope your weekend was enjoyable and fun!  Not a whole lot happening here in the Dziama household.  I've been busy preparing my next tutorial for the Craft Project Central website.  I will be one of the designers for the March subscription period.  I can't share my project just yet but I know you'll love it!  Do you have any projects that you're working on?  I'd love to check them out!  Leave me a comment below and I'll be happy to check out your blog or website!

The sentiment on my card today- Hello friend reminds me of Winnie the Pooh.  I was browsing the internet earlier when I came across a bunch of Pooh quotes.  It's funny how while reading through them- I could imagine them in Pooh's voice.  Silliness I know!  But Pooh always makes me smile!

This card is by no means fancy but it is simple (also reminds me of Winnie the Pooh) and pretty!  I hope you enjoy!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Quick and easy packaging!

Good morning stampers!
Last night I needed a thank you gift.  I wanted something super quick and easy as it was kind of a last minute thing.  So- I went online and found a printable pillow box template and printed it out.  I traced it onto Real Red Core'dinations card stock, cut it out and assembled.  I then used the Stampin' Sanding System to distress the card stock along the edges and the front.  A simple belly band with a sentiment from the Hip Notes stamp set was added for decoration.  Super quick and easy!

Here is the side view of the pillow box:

This pillow box was the perfect size!  It was large enough to hold a gift card and a few miniature candy bars!
Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Heart This...

Happy Happy Friday!
Has everyone had a great week?  Once again- it's been a week filled with snow days here.  I think this has to be the worst winter on record!  I don't ever remember another time when my kids have used 10 snow days in one single year.  It's beyond ridiculous.  I love having them home but at this rate- school will be going on into July.  That's not going to be fun!

Today I have my last Valentine card to share.  I made a quilted background using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool and then I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel where the score lines cross.  It has a similar theme to the rest of my Valentines but is different at the same time.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Valentine's Day Treat

Good morning stampin' friends!
Today I have a little Valentine's Day treat to share with you.  It is somewhat easy to create and the only reason I say it's not easy to create is that during assembly- the Sticky Strip along the bottom of the Window Sheet stuck where it wasn't supposed to stick.  Other than that- the box is fairly easy to make and doesn't take much time at all!

I chose to fill my little treat box with Valentine's Rolo's.  Love chocolate and caramel!  This little treat would be the perfect surprise for a co-worker's desk or a teacher treat!

Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Real Red, Brights Core'dinations, Whisper White, Gold Foil Vellum
DSP:  Kaleidoscope
Stamps:  Hip Notes
Inks:  Real Red marker, Basic Black marker
Tools/other supplies:  Stampin' Trimmer,  Big Shot, Finishing Touches Edgelits, Hearts Collection Framelits, Bitty Banners Framelits, Paper Piercing Tool, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Dimensionals, Glue Dots, candy, Window Sheets

Sweet Sorbet

Good morning!
Happy Hump Day!  This week sure is flying by!  Does it seem that way to you or is it the opposite?  Today's card is just a quick card.  It's made from the Sweet Sorbet DSP that you can earn for FREE with any $50 purchase!  The sentiment is from the Starburst Sayings stamp set.

As you can see- I sewed a border around the DSP/Crisp Cantaloupe card stock.  Sewing on cards is probably one of my favorite techniques!  It's a ton of fun and adds texture!  The Summer Starfruit twine is also an item you can earn during Sale-a-Bration.  It comes with cork stickers and 3 different colors of twine.  It is called the Sweet Sorbet Accessory kit.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Card Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Sahara Sand, Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White
DSP:  Sweet Sorbet

Inks:  Pool Party, Summer Starfruit

Language of Love

Good morning!
Today I have another sweet Valentine to share.  It was created with the beautiful Language of Love stamp set.  I inked the large heart stamp with markers so that I could make it two colored.  Once again- my DSP of choice was Modern Medley.  I just can't get enough of this paper!  It is fabulous!

I sewed a zig zag stitch around the DSP as a border.  The squares were created using the 5 smallest squares from the Squares Collection Framelits.  To do this- simply layer them one inside the other!  It's super easy when you use the Magnetic Platform. A tiny little banner from a piece of Gold Embossed Vellum was added just behind the heart.  The bow is one of my favorites- a fork bow!
Thanks for stopping by!
Card Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Gold Embossed Vellum
DSP:  Modern Medley

Hello there and welcome back for the bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop.  You should have arrived here from the wonderful Cathy Casey's blog.  If not and I'm your first stop- no worries!  Simply use the back/next buttons at the bottom of this post to navigate your way around the hop.  Trust me- you won't be disappointed!

As I was going through my stamp sets earlier this week- I came across my all time favorite!  Oh, Hello!  This set was released in the Occasions Catalog in 2013 and I still love it!  It's such a great set!  It's pretty and it reminds me of Spring!

This card is a 4-1/4" square card.  It's hard to see from the picture but the little Crumb Cake frame is popped up with some Stampin' Dimensionals.  I typically create the standard A2 size cards but figured it would be nice to switch it up a bit!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my project!  Please clock the next button below to visit the amazing Dara Gloden!  I know she has something fabulous in store!
