My project tonight is of an adorable little treat bag made exclusively for some of my favorite Trick or Treater's!

Altered pillow boxes are super cute and simple to create!  Just cut the curved portion off one end and viola!
The little treats inside this package are chocolate eyeballs.  Tasty!
See the adorable little witches hat clip?  That was created using a tutorial from Julie Davidson.  Oh so cute!  The little spider is dangling from a piece of Silver Metallic Thread.  Perfect for spider web making!

Tonight's project is a beautiful card created using the Wonderland stamp set.  I LOVE these trees!  They are beautiful in any color!  It's difficult to see in the picture- but my trees were stamped with Night of Navy ink.  I then added a thin layer of Tombow Mono Adhesive to the trees and dusted them with Dazzling Diamonds.

Drumsticks!

Hello there!  I'm so happy you stopped by tonight!  I have an absolutely adorable treat bag to share with you.  Best of all- it literally takes LESS than 10 minutes to create AND you only need minimal supplies.  These are super cute and would be perfect for a school treat!

Do you know what else these little cuties are good for?  Thanksgiving place settings.  That's what I'll be using mine for!
Need supplies to make your own?  Click on the SHOP WITH ME button on the right sidebar to visit my Stampin' Up! store!

The only supplies you need to create the actual drumstick treat bag are the Kraft Tag-a-bag Gift Bags, Whisper White card stock, Fast Fuse and Paper Snips.  Everything else was used to create the tag.

Monday Montage #52

Hello there and welcome back for the bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop.  I'm so happy you joined us!

Tonight's project is an adorable little Christmas box and coordinating Christmas card.  It's perfectly sized for a stocking stuffer (or two)!  I'm loving the Home for Christmas DSP.   The images are so vintage and sweet!  Definitely a must have for the upcoming holiday season!

The coordinating Christmas card was also created using the Home for Christmas DSP.
This card isn't overly fancy....but it's cute!  And guess what?!?!?!  The card also fits inside the box perfectly!

Happy Halloween!

Hello there!  Tonight I'm sharing the alternate 3D project that I made for the Inking Everything Team Facebook blog hop from Monday.  It's another Halloween treat bag.  I couldn't decide if I liked this one better or the one that I actually used  for the hop.  I figured that it would be a shame to not share this one as well!

Does anything about the tag look familiar?  When I first started creating my projects for the blog hop- I had created the owl image above as the focal point for the card.  I wasn't happy with how it looked when it was layered on top of the Woodlands embossed card so I made it a tag instead!  MUCH better if you ask me!
OH and in case you're wondering- there's CHOCOLATE inside the treat bag!  I found the cutest Iddy Biddy milk chocolate pumpkins while shopping.  I couldn't resist buying them!  They were TOO CUTE!
Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you enjoyed my project!

For the blog hop- we were asked to create a card and a 3 dimensional project.  My projects are Halloween themed.  I have a treat bag that I CASED from the fabulous Shannon West (she shared the directions at Convention) and a Halloween card that just sort of came about by accident!  (but I LOVE it!)

Witching Home Decor

Good evening!  Tonight I have some Witching Halloween decor to share with you.  This adorable Witches Hat was created using the Witching Decor kit from the Holiday Catalog.  This project is fairly simple to complete but it does require a few hours to put together.
Spook-tacular isn't it?

Want to create one of your own?  I am holding a Witching Decor class on WEDNESDAY 9/23 at 6:00 pm.  Class fee is $30 to cover the cost of supplies.  You should allow 2 to 2-1/2 hours to complete this project.

Celebrate the Season

Good morning!  Before I'm off to work for the day- I thought I'd share the card I created last night. Since I'm on limited time- I'm not going to say much about it other than the fact that I love it!  It's a simple fall-ish card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Oh!  I almost forgot- if you're wondering if you NEED this bundle- Trust me- YOU DO!!!

Spooky!

Good evening!  I hope everyone has enjoyed their Labor Day holiday and the unofficial end to summer.  Sniff sniff.  Just saying "end of summer" brings a tear to my eyes!  I'm not quite ready for the cooler weather!  Are you?
While we're on the topic of cooler weather- my favorite holiday is in the Fall.  You guessed it!  HALLOWEEN!!!!!  I'm not really sure why I love Halloween so much... I just do!  It's a fun holiday where everyone gets to pretend to be someone/something else.  Spooky decorations, costume parties, trick or treating....  The fun is never ending!
My projects tonight are both in honor of my favorite holiday.  I have created a Halloween card and a little Halloween treat.

I totally LOVE the new Woodlands Embossing folder.  Isn't it gorgeous?  It creates the perfect spooky scene for Halloween cards!  (I bet it makes some amazing backgrounds for Christmas cards too!)

It's been a while since I spoke of my mason jar obsession but when I happened upon these mini (and I do mean MINI) mason jars, I knew I had to buy them.  They measure just 3.5" tall each and are super adorable.

I filled the mason jar with some gummy candy corn treats that I found at Cracker Barrel. At first I was thinking about putting some chocolate inside but I was surprised at the lack of Halloween candy in the department stores. So gummy candy corn it is!

Monday Montage 50

Hello there and welcome back for the bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop.  I'm so happy you've joined us!  If I am your first stop on the hop- great!  If not- please use the links provided at the bottom of this post to navigate back to Breelin Renwick or next to Dara Gloden.  I know both have fabulous projects to share with you!

Can you believe it's almost time to start thinking about the holiday's?  August is just about over and for Michigan- it's almost time to go back to school!  Where has the summer gone?  I've bypassed Halloween and headed directly into Thanksgiving!  OK- not really but for the purpose of this post I have!  My projects tonight both feature the absolutely adorable Acorny Thank You stamp set.  The first project is a catalog case because I LOVE the little pillow box that's shown on page 45.

Yes- there really is a beautiful Gold Cord bow that was created using the Gold Cording Trim.  It's just a tad bit difficult to see it in the picture.

My second project is a little note card  also created using the Acorny Thank You stamp set.  I'm telling you- this set is super cute!  The Nuts About You sentiment is perfect for a loved one!  Just think- you could tuck this little card into a lunch box or sneak it into a bookbag!

I hope you've enjoyed my projects for tonight!  Thanks for stopping by!

Missing from my supplies list below is the Winter Wonderland Designer Washi Tape.  It was used on the card!

Silent Night

Hello there!  Do you have favorite color combinations?  I have a TON of favorites!  One of them is black, gold and white.  I love the elegant look those 3 colors have when combined.  This card is the perfect example!

The DSP used on this card is the Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP.  This DSP isn't like any other I've ever used.  It feels somewhat thicker and kinda reminds me of an expensive gift wrap.  I LOVE it!

I wasn't kidding when I said that the Festive Flower Builder Punch was my new favorite tool!  I swear I've made at least 100 poinsettia's with it!  The poinsettia on this card was created using only the smaller 2 petal sizes.  Yes it's plain compared to when  used with the coordinating Reason for the Season stamp set but for this card it's perfect!
Thanks for stopping by!  Enjoy your evening!

BOO!

Hello there!  Tonight I have a super cute Halloween project to share with you.  I first saw this adorable Mini Treat Bag at Convention during one of the stamping presentations.  Since I failed to take proper notes on how to create a bag of my own- I had to make do with what I could remember.  The bag itself was created using a sheet of Vellum and the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits.  I then sponged Crushed Curry and Tangelo Twist to create a candy corn style bag.  What do you think?

For the treat inside- I have a 6" x 8" Cellophane bag filled with some of my favorite chocolates.  A Rich Razzleberry bow was tied at the top of the treat bag and a die-cut BOO! was added.  I think it came out super cute!  You'll notice that the bones for my skull/cross bones are longer than they actually come.  I simply cut the end off 2 bones and adhered them together to make them longer.

Starry Starry Night

Hello there and welcome back for another Monday Montage blog hop.  Can you believe that this hop is hop #49?  Where does the time go?  If I'm your first stop on the hop- great!  Be sure to use the buttons at the bottom of this post to navigate back to Cathy Casey or next to Dara Gloden.  I know they have some awesome projects to share with you!

I have a beautiful card to share with you tonight.  I knew it was love at first sight when I got to see the Jingle All The Way stamp set and coordinating Sleigh Ride Edgelits at Convention.  They are simply gorgeous!

To create the background of this card- I sponged the entire Whisper White layer with Tempting Turquoise.  I then sponged Island Indigo in random spots for contrast.  I finished it off by sponging Blackberry Bliss all over the card being careful not to cover up all of the other colors.  I tend to be a perfectionist so creating this card was definitely a challenge for me!  Do you see the white flecks in the background?  That was done by squeezing my Aqua Painter until water started to flow out of it.  Then I flicked it all over the inked background.
Sadly, I am not the original creator of this technique.  I'm not exactly sure who is however my fabulous Inking Everything teammate Ruthie Graen showed me how she made hers so I figured I'd try it out for myself.  I LOVE it!  Thanks Ruthie!

Lions and tigers and bears OH MY!

Good evening!  I'm so excited that it's the weekend!  Do you know what that means?  It means that I get to spend countless hours in my craft room creating beautiful projects for all of my upcoming classes.  That's right...CLASSES!  My next card class is on Wednesday August 12th.  If you're interested in attending the class- there will be one at 3pm and another beginning at 6pm.  We will be making 4 all-occasion cards.  Class fee is $10 (or free with a minimum $25 purchase).  Space is limited so let me know ASAP if you want to attend.  I will also be hosting a My Paper Pumpkin event on Tuesday August 18th at 7pm.  You will want to attend this event.  Come see what My Paper Pumpkin is all about- there will be a make and take, snacks as well as a special offer!

For those who have stopped by to see if I'm sharing any more sneak peeks- you're in LUCK!  I have an adorable little "Thankful" card to share tonight.  This card was created using the Thankful Forest Friends stamp set.  The little bear makes me smile!  He is super cute (and kinda reminds me of the bear from the Bear in the Big Blue House from when my kids were little). Sheesh...I guess that makes me kinda old!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great evening!

....and there's more. Sneak peeks that is!

Remember yesterday when I said that you'd have to check back to see some more of the beautiful sneak peek items I've created using the new Holiday Catalog pre-order?  Well you're in luck!  Tonight I have another one to share with you!

This one is almost identical to the square pillow box that I created yesterday however this one was created using the Gift Bag Punch Board.  I am not the original creator of this fabulous hexagon box.  I found the tutorial on Erica Cerwin's blog.  Thanks for sharing your tutorial Erica!

The picture above shows the side view of the hexagon box.  The box itself is a pretty decent size.  It will be perfect to hold various types of small gifts.  Jewelry, candy, chapstick, etc...The top is held closed with a belly band.

For the poinsettia embellishment- I used the new Festive Flower Builder punch and then created a tag.  Isn't it gorgeous?  I'm telling ya- I could play with the sheet music DSP and the Festive Flower Builder punch all day!  There are so many possibilities with these new products!  I can't wait for you to get your hands on them!

This is a close up of the poinsettia embellishment/tag.  What do you think?  Do you like it?
