Monday Montage #212 Sneak Peek!

Hello stampin' friends! Welcome back for the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  My project today is filled with several sneak peek's! It's a set of 2 mini slim cards and a can glass.

This project was so fun to create!  I started out by creating the can glass.  I used several colors of color changing craft vinyl that was cut out using the fruit wedge die from the Teacup Dies.  I then randomly placed the fruit wedges onto the can glass and embellished it using a bow created with Parakeet Party 1/8" Metallic Ribbon.

The cards are mini slim line cards.  The mini size is probably one of my favorite size cards to create at this time!  They are adorable, fun, and super easy to create!  The completed card size measures 3" x 5".

Both mini slim line cards feature the white and black stripe DSP from the Perfectly Penciled 12" x 12" DSP and the Cup of Tea Photopolymer Stamp Set.  Both of which will be in the upcoming 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.

To create the dotted background on the above card- I used the Dots & Spots Die to create a template.  I then inked a Blending Brush with Coastal Cabana Ink and brushed it onto the Basic White card layer.
Several fruit wedge images were stamped in various colors (Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Pale Papaya and Parakeet Party) and then die cut using the Teacup Dies.

Monday Montage #211: For The Record

Hello stampin' friends! Welcome back for the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  Today I have a super fun project to share.  My hubby and I collect vinyl albums so I thought it would be fun to create an assortment of "records" and display them in their very own record crate.

The crate itself is a mini wooden crate that I found at a craft store. I dressed it up by adding some 2021-2023 In Color DSP ( I used the Polished Pink and Pale Papaya).  To create the record embellishments- I stamped the record image in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Basic Black Card Stock and heat embossed it using Black Stampin' Emboss Powder.

There is a total of 6 record cards in the crate.  Each individual card has a record jacket created from Vellum Card Stock.

There are a few with the Happy Birthday sentiment simply because it's a popular type of card to gift.

Inside each Vellum record jacket is the cutest miniature die cut record card.  I left the insides of these little record cards blank so that there would be a place to write a message to the recipient.

Here is what the inside of the mini record cards looks like.  Aren't they cute?
