Monday Montage #267

Hey there stampin' friends! Welcome back for another Monday Montage Blog Hop.   Today I'm sharing a card that was created using the Reindeer Days Memories & More Card Pack from the upcoming September-December Mini Catalog.  These Memories & More cards are the absolute most adorable cards ever!  It really helps cut down on the amount of time needed to design a card.  Perfect for those who are in a hurry!

The best thing about the Reindeer Days Memories & More Card Pack is that it coordinates with the Reindeer Days Suite Collection.  So cute and so fun!

OSAT: Find A Sketch

Welcome to another fabulous OSAT Blog Hop!  Join us today as we share cards that feature the sketches that can be found on page 22 of the Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog.  My cards today share a few "sneak peeks" of products coming in the September-December Mini Catalog.

I chose 2 clean and simple sketches for this challenge.  One with a circle and the other with a banner.  Sometimes craft time is limited (which is why the CAS cards are perfect!)

Card 1 features the Nests Of Winter DSP and the Natural Tones Linen Thread.  Sentiment is from the Greetings Of The Season Stamp Set.

Card 2 features the Sentimental Christmas DSP and Drusy Adhesive Backed Embellishments.  The sentiment is from the Greetings Of The Season Stamp Set.

Which one do you prefer?  I love them both- but the one with the banner is my favorite!  I LOVE that snowflake paper!!!

Monday Montage #266

Hey there stampin' friends! Welcome back for another Monday Montage Blog Hop.   Today I'm sharing a card that was created using the Calming Creek Cards & Envelopes and the Fully Flowering Epherma Pack.  The Mix & Match products are great!  Especially if crafting time is limited!  It's so easy to create a fabulous card in just a few minutes.

I used one of the Calming Creek Cards as DSP and cut out a tag using the Greetings Of The Season Dies.  These dies are so versatile!  Even though they coordinate with the Greetings Of The Season Stamp Set- they can be used for so much more!  They're my go to tag dies now!
I then added a floral image from the Fully Flowering Epherma Pack.  The sentiment is from the Round We Go Stamp Set and was stamped in Night of Navy ink.  Three Ombre Matte Decorative Dots were used to embellish the card.

Paper Pumpkin Alternatives for July 2024

Did you order the July 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit?  It's called Painted Petals and it is my all time favorite Paper Pumpkin Kit.  It is absolutely gorgeous!  I'm so happy that I received it as an assignment for the Artisan Design Team.

This kit is so gorgeous that making the cards as shown in the Paper Pumpkin instructions is perfect.  The cards as is are simply gorgeous and don't really need anything to make them more beautiful than they already are.  With that said- I tried to keep the card front similar to the kit.  However-I created an alternate fun fold card that features the Old Olive DSP from the Regals 6" x 6" DSP Stack.  I loved how the stripes and the floral side looked with the kit so I chose to showcase both sides.  The card actually opens from left to right and has a pretty image stamped inside as well as another sentiment.  Sadly- I've been through my entire camera roll and cannot find the other pictures that I had taken. 😞

For my second alternate project- I created a home decor piece- it's a framed sampler.  This piece turned out so lovely!  It's truly beautiful 💟
I have received so many requests for the instructions.  I'm happy to say that I actually have a tutorial that I will share (just because putting the instructions into a post makes for a very long post).  Please send me an EMAIL to dani.dziama@gmail.com and I will send the document!

Let me know if you'd like a tutorial for the card as well.  I'm happy to create it!

Monday Montage #265

Hey there stampin' friends! Welcome back for another Monday Montage Blog Hop.  I'm so happy to finally be feeling better so that I can get back to my stamp room and create!  It all started with a girls trip to Las Vegas.  We had a great time while in Las Vegas however I came home and was very sick.  I had gotten covid while on vacation.  Ugh.  So for the next week and a half I spent every single minute of every day just laying around.  I had absolutely no energy to do anything.  It was awful.  Thankfully though- today I'm feeling much much better!

My card today comes from the Country Birdhouse Stamp Set.  I created a gingerbread birdhouse  using the bird house die from the Country Birdhouse Dies.  To do this- I simply cut off the very bottom portion of the birdhouse.

I used a sweet color palette that consisted of Pretty In Pink, Crumb Cake, Real Red, Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon.  Not normally colors I'd use together but they are beautiful together!

To give a more Christmasy look to the gingerbread birdhouse- I used some peppermint sequins that I was gifted a few years ago.  This added an adorable candy like touch!  I then created a bunch of flowers using the Country Birdhouse Dies and greenery using the Golden Greenery Dies to surround the gingerbread birdhouse.

A tiny little bird was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored using  Lost Lagoon and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.

Monday Montage #263

Hey there stampin' friends! Welcome back for another Monday Montage Blog Hop.  Today I'm sharing 2 baby cards.  Both are the same layout/embellishments.  The only difference is one is for a boy and one is for a girl.

The Cutest Onesie Bundle may seem like a small stamp set and just a few dies however there is a lot of potential that lies within this set!  The little onesie itself can be just that- a onesie or cut off the bottom portion of it and it can be a t-shirt!  The sentiments are sweet as are the other elements- numbers and a baby rattle.
Here's the boy version.  I used a blending brush to create a very faint layer of Balmy Blue.  Then I stamped and cut out 3 onesies from Basic White Cardstock and a Balmy Blue patterned onesie from the Subtles 6" x 6" DSP Stack.  Iridescent Faceted Gems were used for embellishments.

The next card is the girl version.  It was created in the same way as the boy version.  The only difference is I used Bubble Bath for the color.

Monday Montage #262

Hey there stampin' friends! Welcome back for another Monday Montage Blog Hop.  Today my card features the Seaside Wishes Bundle and the Beauty Of The Deep Dies.

My color palette for the starfish/coral images- was Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, Pretty In Pink, and Bubble Bath .  The seagrass and small starfish color palette is: Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon, Summer Splash and Coastal Cabana. The elements were created by using a Blending Brush to add ink to Basic White Cardstock and then die cutting.

Monday Montage #260

Hey there stampin' friends! It's time for another Monday Montage Blog Hop!  Today I am sharing a card created using several items from the brand new Full Of Life Suite Collection.  For my card today- I've used the Friends For Life Bundle, Full of Life DSP and the gorgeous new Iridescent Faceted Gems.  I LOVE these gems!  They are so pretty!
This whole product suite is just fantastic!  It's chock full of bright cheerful colors.  The coordinating DSP has fun patterns and is perfect to create projects for many different occasions.

This card was super easy to create- I started with a standard size card base.  Layered that with a piece of Full Of Life DSP that measures 4" x 5-1/4".  I cut a heart shape from a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White Cardstock using the Friends For Life Dies and then embossed the negative image using the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder. I layered the embossed layer to the DSP layer using Stampin Dimensionals.  The Love You sentiment was stamped in Blueberry Bushel Classic Ink.  I cut apart a piece of Silver Trim from the Gold & Silver 1/8" Trim Combo Pack and nested the threads under the sentiment.  Three Iridescent Faceted Gems were used to embellish the card.

Monday Montage #259

Hey there stampin' friends! It's time for another Monday Montage Blog Hop!  Today I am sharing a card created using the Paper Florist Dies and a whole bunch of gorgeous colors!  I'm so sad that the Paper Florist Dies are retiring at the end of this month.  They are by far some of my absolute favorite dies.

To create the elements on the card- I began with a piece of Basic White Cardstock.  I then used several Blending Brushes (1 for each color) and began adding the ink.  I started with Moody Mauve, then Berry Burst, Petunia Pop and Fresh Freesia.  After all the colors were applied- I used a Water Painter to flick specks of water all over the colored cardstock. I set this piece aside to dry and began on the coloring for the leaves.  The leaves were created in the same exact way however I used Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green for inks.

I then arranged the flowers/leaves onto a Basic White Cardstock layer that was embossed using the Crosshatch Embossing Folder (Basics 3D Embossing Folder-online exclusive).  The Happy Birthday Sentiment is from the new Saying Something Epherma Pack in the NEW Annual Catalog.  Three Iridescent Foil Gems were added to the centers of 3 flowers to add interest.

Monday Montage #257

Hey there stampin' friends! It's time for another Monday Montage Blog Hop!  Today I am sharing a card created using the Beach Day Bundle and some of the new 2024-2026 In Colors.

The card base was created using the new 2024-2026 In Color Summer Splash.  Isn't the Summer Splash color fabulous?  It coordinates nicely with so many colors!  The sky background was created by using a Blending Brush and Balmy Blue ink.  The palm trees were both watercolored several times using Shaded Spruce and Pecan Pie Inks.

As you can see from the picture, the palm trees are also 3 dimensional.  They were popped up using Mini Stampin' Dinensionals and placed in between pieces of Crumb Cake Cardstock which has been torn to represent sand.

The 3 surfboards were created using the new 2024-2026 In Color DSP.  I used Summer Splash, Pretty In Pink and Peach Pie.  The sentiment  Wishing You A Beautiful Day sentiment was stamped  in Versamark Ink and heat embossed using White Stampin' Emboss Powder.  To finish the card off- I used 3 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems.

Monday Montage #256

Hey there stampin' friends! It's time for another Monday Montage Blog Hop!  Today I am sharing a card created using different products from the Perennial Lavender Suite Collection.   This gorgeous Suite Collection can be found in the Mini Catalog.

To create this card- I cut a series of banners and overlapped them in the middle.  I used the Perennial Lavender Dies to cut out some foliage using Pretty Peacock Cardstock.  The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock and then stamped using a floral image from the Painted  Lavender Stamp Set. The Butterfly die cut is from the Paper Butterfly Accents and was inked using a Blending Brush and some Fresh Freesia ink.  A few Purple Fine Shimmer Gems finish the look.

TGIF Challenges #461

Hi stampin' friends!  Today I'm playing along with the Designers at TGIF Challenges.  Our challenge this week is an inspiration challenge.  I chose to use the flowers and congratulations for my card.

This card was created by embossing a piece of Vellum Cardstock using the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder.  I then colored the flowers from the reverse side using Stampin' Blends.  I used a combination of Soft Seafood, Melon Mambo, Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly and Flirty Flamingo.  After all the images were colored in I adhered it to a layer of Basic White Cardstock.

I stamped the Congratulations sentiment in Flirty Flamingo Ink and stamped it onto a Flirty Flamingo Cardstock scrap.  I embellished the card using a double Linen Thread bow and some Iridescent Foil Gems.

Monday Montage #255

Hey there stampin' friends! It's time for another Monday Montage Blog Hop!  Today I am sharing a card created using the Hooray For Surprises Bundle and the Sunny Days DSP from Sale-a-Bration.

I love the Hidden Surprises Bundle because it adds an interactive feature to the card.  The recipient simply lifts the tab where it says pull and removes the perforated section on the card to reveal a hidden sentiment.  So fun!

I chose to add a few little flowers to the perforated strip for added detail.  They were distressed, curled and attached using a glue dot. A few Iridescent Foil gems were added as an embellishment.

Here's a quick look at the inside of the card.  I don't normally add a sentiment to the inside of my cards as I like to have extra room to write however this card called for an inner sentiment.
