I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! I've been busy busy busy here! Yesterday I downloaded " The Basics".
What exactly is "The Basics"? The Basics is a new class from Stampin' Up! that offers innovative ways to get the most out of your supplies. There are tips and techniques for all kinds of product- from stamps to the Big Shot. This class is divided into 6 PDF documents that all include written instructions, step out photos, some videos and supply lists for 30+ projects.
The following topics are covered in the class:
- Basic Stamping
- Embossing
- Masking
- Stamp-a-ma-jig
- Water coloring and Markers
- Big Shot Basics
I've been reading through all the information in the PDF's and I've been watching the video's. Let me just say WOW! This is perfect! I love it and am happy to offer it to my customers!
Just click the SHOP WITH ME button located at the top of the right side bar to go directly to my store! This item can be found in the store under the NEW ARRIVALS tab.
I also have a beautiful card to share with you today. It's another of my submissions for the Splitcoaststampers Creative Crew. For this challenge- we were asked to design a card using a famous quote. This quote could be from a current or retired stamp set. Since I don't own any stamp sets that have quotes (current or retired)- I decided to use one of the quotes that can be found in the Fan Fair DSP. I LOVE how it came out! I wasn't sure at first but it's definitely grown on me! Originally I used Very Vanilla for the bow but it just didn't look right. Crumb Cake was definitely the right choice!
Card Ingredients:
Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Riding Hood Red, Basic Grey
DSP: Fan Fair
Stamps: Postage Due
Inks: Riding Hood Red
Tools: Artisan Embellishment kit, Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon, Postage Stamp punch, 1 1/4" Square Punch, Antique Brads, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips
