Fancy Friday: Designer Series Paper Love

Welcome, welcome welcome!  It's time for another fabulous hop!   All participating in the hop are either current or former members of the Stampin' UP! Artisan Design Team....such an amazingly talented bunch!

Our focus for this month is Designer Series Paper.
I have created 2 projects to share today.  They are pictured below and both feature the brand new Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper from the upcoming 2019-2020 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog.

This DSP is stunning.  Every piece is perfect!  The imagery, the color combinations- everything is just gorgeous.
Here is a close-up of the card.  So pretty!

The second project is a tiny treat holder that houses a 3" x 6" Gusseted Cellophane Bag.  This bag is large enough to accommodate a few candies or in this case- a small trinket for my friend.

This DSP and product suite will all be available beginning June 4th!  Need a catalog?  I'm happy to send one to you!

Hugs From Shelli

Hey there stampin' friends!  Tonight I'm sharing an alternate project that was created using this month's Paper Pumpkin kit.  The kit was called Hugs From Shelli and it contained supplies to make 12 note cards with envelopes.

This kit is absolutely gorgeous!  I love that it has a vintage feel to it.  The subtle colors and gorgeous elements make it one of my top Paper Pumpkin kits to date!

To create the layers for my card- I used 2 of the Note Cards.  I simply trimmed them down to the size I wanted, staggered them and adhered them together using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.  The solid blue layer is also from a note card but its the back side so I was able to get 2 layers from one note card.

The middle layer is amazing.  I love the weathered newsprint look!  How about that itsy bits metal bird trinket?  Isn't it adorable?

Have you created alternate projects using this month's  Paper Pumpkin Kit?  I'd love to check them out!  Thanks for stopping by!

It Starts With Art!

Good evening stampin' friends!  Tonight I'm sharing a sneak peek from the upcoming Stampin' UP! 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  The Follow Your Art Product Suite stole my heart from the moment I laid eyes on it!  It's artsy, fun and totally my style!

This card was created using a sketch I found while browsing Pinterest.  If I didn't know better I'd say that the sketch was made for this product suite.  Every element fits in perfectly!

The Follow Your Art DSP has so many fabulous colors!  Basic Gray, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, Pacific Point and Whisper White.  You just can't go wrong with a color scheme like that!

I used several different size shapes layered onto the Whisper White panel.  This allowed me to use a variety of colors as well.  The three adorable hearts are from the Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit.  This kit contains felt accents, charms and more!  It's definitely a must have!

Turning the card to the side- one can see the dimension of the card front.  It's super cute and would make a great card for an art teacher or anyone who loves to do arts & crafts.

#tgifc213 All About Gingham Gala

Hey there stampers! Today's #tgifc challenge features Gingham. For me- gingham is essential.  I love how it looks as well as the fact that it's great for all seasons.  I've seen gingham clothing, table cloths, towels, coffee mugs and just about everything in between!

Gingham is gorgeous and so is this pretty card!  It was created using a Highland Heather card base and a coordinating piece of Gingham Gala DSP.  The cute window frame is from the Stained Glass Thinlits.  The Free As A Bird Stamp Set lends the prettiest bird and floral images for the front.  The bird was colored using Highland Heather Stampin' Blends in both light and dark.  The flowers were colored using the Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.

Please join our challenge this week!  The deadline for entries is 10am PST on Thursday 5/30/19 and I would LOVE to see what you create using Gingham as an inspiration!

Monday Montage #139

Howdy!  Welcome back for another exciting edition of Monday Montage!

Tonight I'm sharing projects created using the Everything is Rosy Product Medley.  I'm not sure about you- but I totally adore this set!  I LOVE the fun color combination, floral stamps, the dies and everything in between!
I'm just sad because it's only available for a limited time so be sure to order yours today!

The card I created to share tonight is a sympathy card.  My friends' mother recently passed and I wanted to create something that was simple yet elegant.

To create this card- I cut out 8 leafy images.  Four in Whisper White Card Stock and 4 from Vellum Card Stock.  I then positioned the white ones in the shape of a wreath on a 4" square piece of Whisper White Card Stock. I adhered them with a little bit of Multipurpose Adhesive.  I didn't stick them down completely as I wanted them to be somewhat dimensional.

Next- I added the 4 Vellum leafy images.  I carefully staggered these in between the white ones.  Once again- I adhered them down with Multipurpose Adhesive being careful only to apply the glue in random places.  This allows the leaves to pop off the card.  The Sympathy sentiment was created by adhering 5 sympathy cutouts together.  Making the word thicker and adhering it to a piece of the Night of Navy/Rose Gold ribbon makes it pop off the card.  Flecks of Rose Gold Shimmer Paint were spattered on using an Aqua Painter.

OSAT Blog Hop: Fabulous Florals

Welcome!  I'm so happy you've decided to join us!  Today at OSAT we are showcasing Fabulous Floral projects.   I LOVE this month's theme!
As most of you know, the brand new 2019-2020 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog is almost here!  Today- I have chosen to give you all a sneak peek using T H E most gorgeous DSP and stamp set!

What's so special about the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper you ask?  Simply put- it is quite possibly the absolute most gorgeous DSP that Stampin' UP! has ever created.  It is chock full of fabulous watercolored flowers that truly do look as though they were freshly painted!

These fabulous floral DSP sheets are stunning on cards, boxes or simply in a frame.  Yep- that's right!  They are gorgeous enough to frame!

How about those amazing Petal Pink Vellum flowers?  The petal's were stamped in Blackberry Bliss Ink onto a piece of the new Perennial Essence 12"x12" Vellum.  The fuzzy centers are pretty awesome as well!  They look so realistic!

My 3d project is a wooden balsa block that I painted with a white milk wash.  It's not overly white- just enough to give it a little color.

The block measures 3-1/4" x 4".
Not too big....and not too small!  It's just the right size!

What do you think?  Are you loving the new Perennial Essence DSP?  Why not hop along with us and see what other gorgeous projects await you!

Creation Station: monuMENtal

Good morning and welcome to another Creation Station Blog Hop!  Our theme this month is monuMENtal.  We are creating cards for men (or little men).

I'm not sure if anyone else is like me but I rarely make masculine cards.  I'm not really sure why.  Perhaps it's because I gravitate towards products that are more feminine or maybe it's simply because I don't currently have many sets that could be used for guys.

This card is very basic.  The only super fun feature is the porthole.  I shared a tutorial on my blog last year and thought I'd bring it back again this year.  Portholes are lots of fun and they look pretty cool.  I love that pretty much anything can be stamped to appear as though it's outside the porthole.
To create the ocean scene in this card- I used several stamps from High Tide.

Once again- a combination of Cajun Craze and Early Espresso in addition to the Touches of Texture Stamp Set were used to distress the porthole.  The Rhinestone Basic Jewels act as "bolts".

Thanks for stopping by!
Why not continue on our hop!  There are lots of amazing projects to be seen today!  Next up is the fabulous Dena Rekow!
