It's here it's here!!! It's finally here!

TODAY is the day!  That's right!  The brand new 2013-2014 Stampin' Up! Catalog is available and ready to order from (as of NOON MST)!  I am so very excited about the new catalog!  There are so many wonderful new products and stamp sets.  One of my most favorites is the addition of Core'dinations card stock in EVERY color that Stampin' Up! offers!  How awesome is that? The new catalog is FULL of wonderful new surprises and I don't want to spoil them all so I have created a link to the new catalog.  It is on the right sidebar.  Just click the image and be prepared to look for hours!

I also have a card to share with you today.  I created the flowers by using the Secret Garden stamp set and matching framelits.  I stamped the flowers onto Vellum using Versamark ink.  Then I embossed them with white embossing powder. I also colored the back sides of the flowers using a sponge dauber and my ink pads.  LOVE how they look!  The ink on the vellum takes a while to dry so it's best to make the flowers and let them dry overnight.
Card Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Whisper White, Pool Party, Vellum
Stamps:  Secret Garden
Ink:  Versamark, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight
Tools:  Stampin' Trimmer, Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, Chevron embossing folder, Bitty Banners Framelits, Secret Garden Framelits, White embossing powder, Sponge Daubers, Calypso Coral Bakers Twine, Paper Snips

Can you say ouch?

Good morning!
It's been a few days since I last posted.  I had every intention of making a post on Memorial Day with a card to share however I managed to burn my fingers using my heat tool so my fingers were really sore.  Note to self- don't cut out images before they are embossed!  Just too hard to hold onto!  Now that I learned my lesson the hard way- you can bet I won't be doing that again!
Today my fingers were a little less sensitive so I was able to create a card to share.  For this card, I used Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade.  I just couldn't resist using Lucky Limeade a few more times before it retires on Friday.  It's such a great color and I will truly miss it!

For this card I wanted to omit the polka dot background.  As you can see, I used my Stampin' Write markers and inked only the flowers and the hummingbird.  Then I embossed the image using the Wildflower Meadow embossing folder.

Thanks for checking in and have a wonderful day!

Happy Memorial Day!

Good morning!
My card share will come later today.  I have been busy for the majority of the weekend with get togethers and bbq's.  Didn't leave much time for stampin'!  I am ready to spend some quality time up in my stamp room!  I'll be posting later today.  Please check back!
I hope you all had a safe and wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

NEW!!! Sneak Peek!

Good Morning!
Yesterday I received my special recruiting bundle that I earned during Sale-a-bration. I am so excited that I earned this bundle!  In the bundle was the Happy Day Stamp Set, the Modern Medley DSP and a package of Hardware Clips Essentials (I didn't use the clips on this card).  What a FUN set!  I absolutely love the Very Vanilla/Basic Black color combination.  Pair it with Real Red and WOW!  What a great combo!  The Happy Day stamp set has several fun phrases.  I chose to use the Hello There sentiment.
For this card- I used the following ingredients:
Card Stock:  Very Vanilla
DSP:  Modern Medley
Stamps:  Happy Day
Inks:  Real Red, Black Staz-On
Tools:  Stampin' Trimmer, Bone Folder, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Paper Snips, Paper Piercing Tool, Brights Brads, Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon, SNAIL, Glue Dots, Stampin'  Dimensionals

Keep checking back as I will be posting more sneak peeks before the new 2013-2014 catalog goes live next Friday!
Have a great day!

New Catalog Case

Good Morning!
Today I have a card to share with you.  I was asked by a few of my customers to create a card that they had seen in the new 2013-2014 Stampin' Up! Catalog.  I didn't have all the supplies but I used what I could to make the card work.  What do you think?  Do you like it?

It's created from a new stamp set called Mosaic Madness.  LOVE this set!  Tons of possibilities with this set!
Do you have a new catalog yet?  If not- what are you waiting for?  I would be happy to mail one to you!
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stampin'!

Good morning!
As some of you may know- I was in Wisconsin for a few days attending a friend's wedding.  Unfortunately I didn't have much time to stamp.  I did however create a card that has a few sneak peeks for you!
For this card- I used a brand new embossing folder and a clay flower which I have dyed to match the Pool Party card stock.  I love the clay and clay molds and can't wait for you to use them as well!  You too will love them!
I cased the design of this card from my fabulous upline Becky Roberts.  I changed a few items to make it my own.  I'm so happy that Pool Party and Calypso Coral will now be a part of our color collection.  They truly are 2 of my favorites!

Card Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Pool Party, Very Vanilla, Calypso Coral
DSP:  2011-2013 In Color DSP stack
Ink:  Pool Party, Pool Party re-inker
Stamp:  Teeny Tiny Wishes

For the Newlyweds

Good Morning!
It's been a long time since I've made a wedding card.  I have seen cards similar to the one I made on Pinterest and on several other websites so I'm not really sure who the original creator is.  I think the card is both elegant and sweet.  It's the perfect card for my friend's wedding in Wisconsin this weekend!

I know they will love it!  It's such a simple design!  It's perfect!
Card Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Basic Black, Whisper White
Stamps:  Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink:  Black Staz-On
Tools:  Big Shot, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Bone Folder, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL, Glue Dots, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Black Taffeta Ribbon, Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder, Pearl Basic Jewels, Hearts Collection Framelits

I'm not sure about you- but I know I'm really going to miss the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder.  It is by far my absolute most favorite embossing folder ever.  I use it for just about everything.  It is retiring at the end of May so if you want it- order it while you still can!  You won't be sorry!  Visit MY STORE to order.

Have a fabulous weekend!

For you

Good Morning!
I apologize for not posting in a while.  I have been putting the finishing touches on my Artisan Design Team submissions and I'm happy to report that I will be sending them off tomorrow.  That means that I will have a TON of time to stamp and create lots of fun things to share with you!

I hope all of the mothers out there had a wonderful Mother's Day!  I know I did!  I got to spend lots of time with my kids and in my stamp room!  Much accomplished!

Today I have another sneak peek from the upcoming 2013-2014 Catalog.  I chose to create a mini 3 1/2" square card with a shaker frame.  This card features the brand new Strawberry Slush in color as well as Coastal Cabana.  Coastal Cabana is my favorite new in color.  I love them all- don't get me wrong but I have been using Coastal Cabana for a lot of cards and it's beautiful.  The stamp set used is also from the upcoming catalog and it's called Chalk Talk.  LOVE it!  So many cute tags/sentiments.
If you do not have a new catalog yet- please let me know and I'll be happy to drop one off or drop one in the mail for you.

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

Sneak Peek

Good Morning!
Today I have a sneak peek card from the upcoming 2013-2014 Stampin' Up catalog.  I am SO excited about the new catalog!  Not only is the new catalog full of great new stamp sets but there are also new in color's as well as a ton of new accessories.
As most of you know, being a demo allows me to pre-order certain products before the catalog goes live for everyone.  The card below was created from the Mosaic Madness set.  I think this set is quickly going to become one of my favorites!

If you would like a new catalog- please let me know and I will get one sent out to you!

Thanks so much!

Good Morning!
Since I have been spending a lot (and I do mean a lot) of time on my Artisan Design Team submissions- I haven't had much time to create anything else.  Today's card is perfect because not only does it require few supplies but it also doesn't require much time to make.  To cut the hexagon's that are layered- simply run your piece of DSP through the Big Shot using the Honeycomb Embossing folder a few times.  The hexagon's will be really easy to cut apart.  Add SNAIL or glue dots and that's it!

Card Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Whisper White
DSP:  Tea for Two
Stamps:  Oh Hello
Inks:  So Saffron, Early Espresso
Tools/Embellishments:  Big Shot, Honeycomb Embossing Folder, Ovals Collection Framelits, Paper Snips, Stampin' Trimmer, Bone Folder, SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Lace Tape, Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon, Stampin' Spritzer

Happy Stamping!

Nap time?

Good morning!
For the past few days, I've been working on several projects featuring Stampin' Up! fabric.  It's perfect for small projects like purses and for larger projects like a quilt.  I made a purse using the Twitterpated fabric because I love the colors.  They are the perfect combination!  This purse is absolutely adorable!  It's not overly large but it measures approximately 15" across and is roughly 9" deep.  The inside has a pocket which coordinates with the fabric on the outside.  The liner was created using the green pin stripe pattern shown here in the picture.  Isn't it adorable?
Apparently there was an objection to sewing in my house today.  Jake (the sweetest cat ever) decided to take a nap on the sewing machine.  It's kind of hard to sew around a sleeping cat!
He's awake in the first picture but it didn't take him long to doze back off!

A few moments later:
What a wierdo!  Jake is an oddball to say the least!  He also likes to lay in the middle of my craft table and sunbathe under my desk lamp.  Must be nice to fall asleep anywhere!

Thanks for checking in and have a fabulous Wednesday!
