Monday Montage #36

Hello there and welcome back for the bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop.  You should have arrived from the fabulous Cathy Casey's blog. If not and I'm your first stop- Welcome!  Please be sure to use the next/back links to visit the other amazing ladies on this hop as well!  I know they have lots of beautiful projects to share with you!

Tonight's project is an absolutely ADORABLE altered alarm clock.  Yep- you heard me right.   An alarm clock!  Isn't it cute?

One of my favorite elements for this project is the teeny tiny tree.  I had made much larger versions of the trees back before Christmas.  This one starts with squares that are 1/4" and goes all the way up to 1".  It's the perfect size for this project.  The LOVE sentiment was stamped in Whisper White craft ink and embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder.  It's kind of hard to tell from the picture but there is a ton of gold sequin and heart confetti at the bottom.

Here's a close up:

Unfortunately the outside of the alarm clock is super shiny so please ignore my hands that seem to reflect in one of the bells.

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to click the next button to head on over to see what the wonderful Dara Gloden has to share.

  1. How creative and cute is this! Your little tree is adorable and I'm amazed at your patience and how steady your hand must be to work with something so tiny. Love this!

  2. You are soooo creative. It makes me want to run out and buy an alarm clock. LOL! I have to look around and see what I could use instead. Hmmmmmmm....

  3. WOW...this is the most creative idea that I think that I have ever seen....really fabulous!!!! I agree with MarvAsix......and Amy O.....!
