April OnStage Display Samples

Hey there stampers!  Tonight I'm back to share the display board samples that I created for the Stampin' UP! OnStage event I attended this past weekend in London, Ontario.  OnStage is always so much fun and I'm so fortunate to have been able to go!  Not only did I learn about amazing new products but I also got to meet my fellow 2017 Artisan Design Team Member Martha Inchley.  ❤

The display samples I'm sharing today- were created with the brand new Painted Glass photopolymer stamp set.  In case you couldn't tell by the name- the stamp set is meant to create "stained glass".  This set stumped me at first as I wasn't sure how I'd create the stained glass look without actually having anything that looked like glass.  So- I created some different ideas instead!

Here- I used the medallion to create a background image.  I colored the medallions using the Stampin' Blends in the following colors:  Pink Pirouette, Daffodil Delight and Smoky Slate.  I used a combination of both light and dark blends.

The next card doesn't really translate very well in the picture.  All of the roses were watercolored using the Rose Red re-inker and an Aqua Painter.  Each rose was then fussy cut.  It's definitely much prettier in person!

It's a little difficult to see in the picture- but the word Celebrate was partially embossed using Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder and the Heat Tool.

Here's a side view of the card.  This view shows that each rose is adhered to a Stampin' Dimensional to create depth in the rose wreath.

How about those little silver pearls?  They are the brand new Metallic Pearls!  LOVE them!

My last sample for tonight is a pretty birthday card created for a butterfly lover!  See that beautiful sentiment?  That was created from the brand new and coming soon 2018-2020 In Color Stampin' Emboss Powder.

Each butterfly was stamped into place using the Stamparatus tool.  This new tool is the perfect way to line all your images up perfectly!

Each butterfly was colored in using the following Stampin' Blends colors:  Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie.  Both light and dark colors were used.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to check back to see what other fabulous samples I have to share!
