Just a little note...

Good evening stampers!  Tonight as I was looking for some inspiration- I came across several cards that were created on acetate.  I thought the cards looked pretty cool so I thought I would try one out for myself!  I must say- it's really pretty stinkin' cute!

To begin- I cut a Window Sheet down to 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored it in half at 4-1/4".  Next I inked up the Sheet Music stamp in Black Staz-On ink and stamped directly onto the top of the Window Sheet and set it aside to dry.   I then created a tiny piano out of Whisper White and Basic Black Card Stock.  I again stamped the Sheet Music stamp only this time onto the Whisper White layer.  I mounted the piano (white layer) on the outside of the card and then matted it from the inside to hide the adhesive.

Easy peasy!  Super cute and oh so fun!  I just love it!
Wanna create one of your own?  Have questions?  Let me know!  I'd love to hear from you!

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. So, the mat for the card front is on the inside of the front window sheet piece. Does that mean that the inside of the card is matted to the inside back?

    1. I don’t have a piano template. I just drew it free hand when I created the card. I will be sharing a tutorial on how to create the card very soon!
