Double die cutting

Good morning!
The card I'm sharing today is a card that features the double die cutting technique. Penny Smiley posted the tutorial on her blog yesterday. Check it out! Super easy and very cute!

Valentine's Day Mailbox

Good Morning!
Today I'm sharing another one of Erica Cerwin's creations. It's an absolutely adorable Valentine's Day Mailbox. I LOVE it! such a clever idea! Stay tuned as I will be offering a Valentine's Day class which will feature some of the projects I've shared this past week.

Bubbles!

Today I have a cute little Valentines Day gift to share. These would be perfect to make and send in for school class parties.
When I first saw the design (created by Erica Cerwin) I knew I had to make some!

The packaging itself reminds me of a perfume sample (which for those who know me- know that I LOVE "little" things) so a mini bottle of bubbles is perfect!!! When the card is opened up you can see the bubbles and the sentiment.

These can also be decorated for different themes. I think they would be super cute for Birthday parties as well!

Heart shaped box

Good morning!
Now that things have finally settled down a bit- I've had time to play with my new goodies a lot more. Thankfully!

The item I'm sharing today is an absolutely adorable heart shaped box. It opens to reveal a small gift. In this particular box, I put in a hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works. Even though the box is fairly small- there's plenty of room for a small candy treat. Unfortunately I wasn't the clever one who designed this. All the credit goes to Erica Cerwin. Isn't it absolutely adorable?

Patterned Occasions

Good morning! Today I have a thank you card to share. All of the products used (with the exception of the card stock and ink) is from the 2013 Sale-a-bration catalog. I love the bright colors of the Sycamore Street DSP and the super cute stamp set called Patterned Occasions. Too cute!!!

Creative Crew Gallery

Here it is!  The moment we've all been waiting for!  The Splitcoaststampers Creative Crew Gallery is now live!  Creative Crew Gallery January 2013

The January Challenges were Back to Basics!  Here is the information on the challenges that I copied from SCS:
This month's challenge is brought to you by Jana, aka - indyemmert

2013 is Stampin' Up's 25th anniversary! That got me thinking about what made me fall in love with Stampin' Up back at the beginning, and the answer is the basics: stamps, ink and paper.

(with apologies to Rodgers and Hammerstein, LOL)
"Let's start at the beginning,
A very good place to start.
When you read, you begin with A-B-C.
When you stamp, you begin with S-I-P."

This month, let's remind ourselves and our customers why we love Stampin' Up by focusing on S-I-P: stamps, ink and paper.

CCREW0113DF, CreativeCrew, SUO or SUM -- DSP/Color Focus: We have an embarrassment of riches in the Occasions catalog and Sale-a-bration catalog. Choose YOUR favorite DSP from either catalog, and convince the rest of us to love it too!

CCREW0113CF, CreativeCrew, SUO or SUM -- Do you remember what it's like to be a beginning stamper and wondering how in the world to create a card with just the basics? Create a card using just stamps, inks and paper that will win over beginner and advanced stampers alike!

CCREW0113HF, CreativeCrew, SUO or SUM -- Holiday focus: Since it's Stampin' Up's 25th anniversary, make an anniversary card using the attached sketch.

CCREW0113SF, CreativeCrew, SUO or SUM -- Scrapbook focus: Create a scrapbook page about your stamping. What inspires you? What does your stamping space look like?

Happy stamping!

Happy New Year!

It's that time of year again!  Another year is over and a new one has just begun.  I swear the older I get the faster time goes.  I haven't made any New Year's Resolutions yet and I'm not really sure that I will.  How about you?

Last night I was busy creating my submissions for the Splitcoaststampers Creative Crew.  I don't like to wait till the last minute to get stuff done but this time I didn't have a choice.  My preorder was delayed not once but twice due to weather.  I will be posting again this afternoon once the Creative Crew Gallery goes live over at SCS.

Until then- here is a card that I created at about 2am.  I'm not really much of a late night stamper so you can tell that I was a little sleepy.  (that would explain the extra red lines).  I must admit that normally I would not share a card that isn't perfect (or very close to it) but yes, even I make mistakes while creating!

Happy New Year!
