Get Well

Good morning!
Since the flu season is in full swing and many are sick- I thought I'd share a get well wishes card. I've been on a bit of a Valentine's Day kick lately so I thought it would be a nice change.

To make this card, I used all new product!  (with the exception of the card stock).  The DSP is from the Tea for Two pack.  The Oval Framelits were used to create the nesting ovals.  I used the rose stamp from the Oh, Hello stamp set (greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes).  Last but certainly not least is the 5/8" Flower Trim ribbon.  On this card- I cut 3 roses from the ribbon and dyed them with a mixture of 70% rubbing alcohol and 5-6 drops of Island Indigo reinker.  I found it easiest to make the dye mixture into an empty Stampin' Spritz bottle.  The roses took less than 5 minutes to completely dry and they are pretty!

Do you have any cards, 3D projects or techniques that you would like to see on my blog?  Leave me a comment or send me an email!
Happy Friday!

Mojo277

Ok!  So it's not Monday but I did make a card using the Mojo Monday 277 sketch challenge.  I really liked the sketch this week.  It's a versatile layout which can be used for many different cards.  I'm thinking it's the perfect layout for a birthday card or a wedding card.  I chose to make mine a Valentine.

What do you think?  Do you use sketch challenges to help you come up with ideas for your cards?

Raccoon Valentine Treat box CASE

OMG! I have the cutest Valentine's Day treat box to share with you today. (I'm caseing the idea from Kimberly) It's a paper piecing made by using several punches and dies. Normally I'm not a huge fan of paper piecing as my projects don't usually come out like I want them to. Today must have been my lucky day! Isn't he just the sweetest?

Spring Bouquet

Good Afternoon!
Since I've finally had a few moments to catch up I started working on another floral arrangement.  This one is more of a spring/summer bouquet.  It's created from another tutorial from Leigha Rock (diaryoftwocraftygirls.blogspot.com).  I love this arrangement simply because it's soft and beautiful.  The roses and other flowers are very life-like.  Yes, these bouquet's are easy to make!  I know that they look difficult but I promise that they are not!  If I can do it- so can you!

I also have a question to ask today.  I'm originally from the Whitesville, NY area and lately I've been noticing that there are several visitors each day from the Coudersport, PA/Elmira, NY/Woodhull, NY/Wellsville, NY area.  Would anyone be interested in a class?  I'd be happy to come in and visit my parents AND teach a Stampin' Up! Class.  I just wanted to see if there was an interest before I commit to doing so.  I'd love to hear what you have to say!  Please either comment here on my blog or send me an email (dani.dziama@gmail.com).  I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter- what kind of class, best time for you, etc...
Happy Saturday and thanks for checking in!

A quick update...

I wanted to stop by and let you all know that yes- I'm around and making beautiful things to share with you.  I have been in Buffalo the past week helping my in-laws.  My father in law took a nasty tumble down a flight of stairs last Friday night and had to spend a few days in the hospital.  He is pretty beat up and has 17 staples in his head but fortunately he will be fine.  On Tuesday my mother in law had to have knee surgery and since my father in law was in the hospital- my husband and I went in to help them out for a few days until they could take care of themselves.  Thankfully my in-laws are recovering nicely and we could finally come home.  It has been a long week.  I will have some things to share with you tomorrow afternoon.  My daughter is having her wisdom teeth removed tomorrow morning so I will be at her surgery in the morning.  I sincerely hope things slow down as I don't know how much more I can take.  I miss stamping and my work is really piling up!
I hope you all have a fabulous evening and I will see you all back here tomorrow!
