Monday Montage #67

Hello there and welcome back for the bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop.  Thanks for joining us!

Tonight's card is an adorable BBQ invite created for a friend.  I was asked to create an invitation for her mom's 50th birthday celebration but it couldn't look like a birthday party invite.  So this is what I came up with:

I've not made many BBQ invites so I went to Pinterest for ideas.  I thought about making an apron card or a card with a picnic setting on it but when I came across a card with a little BBQ grill on it I knew I had to create one just like it!

Thanks for stopping by!
Be sure to continue around the hop! You don' wanna miss a single stop!  These ladies are all fabulous!

Monday Montage #64

Hello there and welcome back for the bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop.  We're glad you joined us!
WOW!  It's been forever since I posted here.  It's been a crazy past few months....mostly with my father-in-law.  He was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer over 7 years ago and within the past year or so- we were told that the cancer had spread to his bones.  Sadly- he has lost his fight and passed away on 2/26.  Slowly but surely- things will get back in order.  So- if you have enjoyed my blog in the past- stick around!  Things are about to get busy!  I have TONS of stuff to share!

My post tonight is probably the cutest little treat I've ever made.  Well....CASED.  My fabulous upline Becky Roberts shared these with her team and I couldn't wait to create some of my own.  In the process of creating these- I ran into a few little snafu's.  First of all- the punch fairy has hidden my Large Oval Punch.  After looking for it for literally over an hour- I decided to look through my tools to see what else I could use.  Then- I didn't have any Whisper White Bakers Twine....OH MY!

Thankfully I was able to find some alternative items and make it work!  The little bunny is a miniature Lindt Chocolate Bunny.  He is adorable all by himself but when combined with the super cute little treat holder he's off the charts!

This is just the beginning of these bunny treats.  I've decided to make one for each of my co-workers.  I know they will be a HUGE hit!

Love You!

Hello there!  Sorry I've been MIA for a little bit.  My son had major surgery on December 16th and I have been super busy making sure he has everything he needs.  All is well and he is on the mend!  So that means it's time for me to get back into the groove both with my everyday job as well as with Stampin' Up!

My project for today is a beautiful home decor piece.  It features several of the brand new products from the upcoming Occasions Mini Catalog.

The Love Blossoms product suite was the perfect choice for this piece.  The Bloomin' Heart Thinlits Die is simply amazing!  LOVE the intricate details!  It's difficult to see from the picture but the background was flecked with the Gold Wink of Stella.  See the gold heart?  That's one of the doilies from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit! I simply cut the fancy parts off and embossed the heart with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.  What about that beautiful bow?  That is also from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit.  Just slide the paper clip off and VOILA!

Thanks for stopping by tonight!  Be sure to visit my store (Click the SHOP WITH ME button on the right sidebar) beginning on January 5th, 2016 to begin purchasing these fabulous items!  Also remember that with every $50 purchase- you will get to choose a FREE Sale-A-Bration item as well!
