Sweet as can be...

Are you having as much fun with the products from the new annual catalog as I am?  There are SO many awesome products and new stamps that it's sometimes difficult to know where to begin.  For me- I chose my favorite sets to play with first.  How do you choose what you will play with first?

Tonight's card features another new favorite set called Shooting Star.  This stamp set is available in a bundle so you not only get the stamp set but also the coordinating Sliding Star framelits at a 10% discount.  These framelits were definitely a welcomed addition to the new catalog.  I have wanted to create slider cards (also known as spinner cards) for years.  Only problem was that I was too lazy to take the time to create them.  Now I don't have to worry about the amount of time it takes! That issue is resolved by using the new Sliding Star framelits.  Now the process is super quick and easy!

Thanks for stopping by!

It's here!!!!

I don't think I've ever been so excited for a new catalog in my entire career as a Stampin' Up! demo.  If you have not looked at the BRAND NEW Stampin' Up! 2016-2017 Annual Catalog you are missing out! Stampin' Up! has knocked it out of the park with this one!

Let me start off by saying that today was THE longest day EVER.  I got up bright and early yesterday to put my order in (with next day air shipping of course!)  Today there was a miscommunication with Mr. Brown and I had to rescue my packages from the UPS hub.  Only issue with that was that it was not even noon yet and I had to work until 5:30.  UGH!  How on earth was I going to make it through my day?  All I could think about was stamping with my new goodies!

I'm sure you're wondering what I ordered so I'll share a little each day to help you find out!   Foxy Friends was one of the stamp sets that I was immediately drawn to in the catalog.  Not only is it absolutely adorbs but it is also multipurpose.  You see the stamps and the coordinating punch can be used to create a wide variety of little critters.  A fox, deer, raccoon, cat, etc...  Needless to say- that was the first set I picked up out of my order to play with!

Isn't it just the cutest?  I can't wait to create a whole forest full of friends!

Thanks for stopping by!

Just For You

Have you ever bought a stamp set (or other crafting item) and set it aside only to completely forget about it?  That's exactly what I have done.  I completely neglected the Watercolor Wings Stamp set since the day it was delivered.  I had the best intentions when the set was purchased but as the months went by it just sat there.....waiting to be used.  Not anymore!  I pulled the set out today and created this gorgeous card!

Although I had originally planned to use the Watercolor Wings butterfly stamp, I had this beautiful butterfly already watercolored and ready to go.  How could I pass that up?

Here is a close up- it's hard to see in the first picture but there are several flecks of Clear Wink of Stella as well as some gorgeous Metallic Gold Thread.

Thanks for stopping by!

Remember- tomorrow May 31, 2016 is the last day to order from the Retired List!  Get them while you still can!!!

Pop Of Paradise...

Can you believe it's almost time for a brand new Stampin' Up! catalog?  It doesn't seem possible that a year has already flown by!  Where does the time go?
As a Stampin' Up! demo one of my favorite perks is the ability to preorder products before the catalog goes live.  As I was browsing through the catalog the Pop of Paradise stamp set really stood out to me.  After all I do adore cards, clothes, paintings, dishes and pretty much anything else that uses the color scheme black, white and a "pop" of color.  Needless to say- I was beyond thrilled to see it on the preorder list!
There is a wide array of images in the Pop of Paradise stamp set but for this card I chose the Thinking of You sentiment paired with the new Sweet & Sassy Framelits.  The perfect combination for this sweet card.

Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Basic Black, Whisper White, Melon Mambo
Stamps:  Pop of Paradise
Inks:  VersaMark
Tools/other supplies:  Big Shot, Sweet & Sassy Framelits, Blushing Bride Sequin Trim, Mini Banner punch, Confetti Hearts Border Punch, Melon Mambo Thick Bakers Twine, Gold Metallic Thread
