Monday Montage #100

Hello there and welcome back for the bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop. I'm so happy you joined us!  Be sure to visit all 10 stops to see what other amazing designers have created to share with you.

Did you know that this is our 100th hop tonight?  So excited to still be hopping with this fabulous group of ladies!  They all provide an endless supply of inspiration ❤.

For my project tonight- I'm featuring the Year of Cheer Product Suite.  You will totally LOVE this suite!  It's perfect both for weddings or holidays. The Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper features 4 foil designs- there are 3 sheets of each of the 4 designs.  This paper is single sided and thicker than regular DSP.

The card I made to share is a shaker card that was created using the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper, a Window Sheet and some Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape.

As you can see from the picture, there are lots of metallic accents.  The Metallics Sequin Assortment was perfect for filling my shaker!

Here is a close up of the sentiment.  It's difficult to see in the picture but the JOY is actually embossed with Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder.

I hope you have enjoyed my project!   Won't you join us for the rest of the hop?  Simply click the NEXT button to go to the fabulous Dara Gloden or click the BACK button to head on over to the lovely Cathy Casey.  Thanks for stopping by!

Scrapbooks and Cards Today- Stampin' UP! Saturday

Hey there stampers!  Yesterday my friend Mindy Bingamon and I were guest bloggers on the Scrapbook and Cards Today Blog for Stampin' UP! Saturday.  Here is the link to the original post:  http://scrapbookandcardstodaymag.typepad.com/scrapbook_cards_today_blo/2017/09/stampin-up-inspiration-saturday.html

Please head on over to the SCT website and and check our gorgeous projects out! Leave a comment on the Scrapbook and Cards Today Blog post and you'll be entered to win a the Painted Autumn Stamp Set and a package of coordinating Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper!  Your comment MUST be on THEIR site to qualify!

The first picture is of both of my projects.  I wanted to share that one can create gorgeous cards/projects by using the images from the Painted Autumn DSP or by using the Painted Harvest Stamp Set. Either option gives beautiful results!

On this card- I have only used a sentiment from the Painted Harvest Stamp Set.  The sunflower image has been fussy cut directly from a piece of coordinating Painted Autumn DSP.

My next project was a series of 4 boxes created as Table Favors for Thanksgiving.  Each box is pretty much the same with the only differences being in the sunflower images and the name tags on the side of the belly band.

To create the sunflowers- I began by inking the outer part of the sunflower with Crushed Curry ink and stamping it onto Watercolor Paper.  I then inked the top layer of the sunflower in Crushed Curry ink and stamped it directly over the first stamped image.  Using Early Espresso- I added the center portion of the flower.  Now comes the fun part!  Using a Stampin' Spritzer filled with water- I carefully spritzed the image LIGHTLY.  After the colors started to run- I knew I had spritzed enough!  Then I let the images dry and attached them to card stock layers onto a belly band.

This is a close up of the side of each box.  Using the Labeler Alphabet I was able to create a little name tag for each person and attach it to the box.

Aren't they adorable?  Thanks for stopping by!
Again- please head on over to the Scrapbook and Cards Today Blog and check out the rest of our projects!

My projects tonight are SO stinkin' cute it's ridiculous!   These Mini Pillowboxes are sure to delight!  To create them- I used the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper and the coordinating Spooky Cat Photopolymer Stamp Set.  The stamp set itself has 18 spooky images and coordinating sentiments to help make your Halloween a hit!

It's kinda hard to tell from the picture- but the finished size is around a whopping 2-3/8" long.  That's pretty small for a treat!

There are so many possibilities when decorating these little cuties!  The Spooky Night Designer Series Paper comes with 12 sheets- 2 each of 6 double sided designs.  You can either stamp the images from the stamp set as shown below....

.....or you can fussy cut out the images instead!

Either way- it's sure to deight!

Are you wondering exactly what kind of treat fits into these adorable Mini Pillowboxes?

That's right!  A Hershey's Miniature.  Yes- there's 2 chocolates in the picture however each Mini Pillowbox only holds one.

Thanks for stopping by!

I'm super excited for our hop today as we are get to share projects using a BRAND NEW stamp set called Merry Patterns.  For a limited time you can get the Merry Patterns Stamp Set for FREE when you host a party of $300 or more.  This exclusive stamp set is in addition to the Stampin' Rewards that you'll earn when you host a qualifying Stampin' UP! party.  Don't delay!  This fabulous offer ends on October 31st!

This awesome stamp set is a set of eleven- 2 step stampin' stamps!  It is SO fun!  You will LOVE it!
Here are two of the cards that I created to share with you all today.  I've actually created several more however you'll have to check back to see the others!
I even have cards in non traditional colors!

To create the card on the left- I began by stamping Merry Christmas in Garden Green ink.  As you can see in the picture- I randomly stamped the sentiment in a straight line.  This was done to create the look of continuation from one line to the next.

It's somewhat difficult to see in the picture but the green ribbon peeking out from behind the sentiment is a piece of Garden Green Stitched Satin Ribbon that has been pleated.  A piece of Be Merry DSP adds the perfect amount of contrast to the green on the card.

Upon closer inspection you'll notice that there are 3 Pearl Basic Jewels and some Gold Metallic Thread.  Yes!  I use a TON of Gold Metallic Thread (well....any Metallic Thread for that matter) however it looks GREAT on just about everything!  Go ahead!  Try it!  See for yourself!

My second card is similar to the first in that I have stamped a sentiment continuously all across the Be Merry DSP layer.  A layer of Vellum completely covers the top layer to soften the look.

The picture below shows a close up on just how gorgeous that season sentiment is.  It is amazing!  I love all of the little details on each individual letter.  The stamp itself is one solid piece however I chose to cut each letter out individually.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have enjoyed my projects!  Be sure to check back for more fabulous ideas using the NEW Merry Patterns Stamp Set!

Tonight's project is a gift so I can't show you what's inside. Bummer.....I know!  I have been trying to come up with a little something that I can send a special group of people to show my appreciation and while I was at Disney World earlier this month- I found something perfect!
I hope the recipients love it as much as I do!

Here is a close up of the tag.  If you look closely- you will notice 3 new products from the upcoming Holiday Catalog.  The first new product is the fabulous Everyday Label Punch.  LOVE IT!  There's even a brand new Stamp Set that coordinates perfectly with the Everyday Label Punch.  It's called Merry Little Labels.  The sentiment I used is just one of 6 different sentiment options!  Last but certainly not least- are the gorgeous new Foil Snowflakes.  Trust me when I say that you NEED them!

Thanks for stopping by!

Please note that the Envelope Punch Board is listed in my supplies list- I used this as my corner rounder.

Stampin' UP! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop- Sharing Sweet Thoughts

Hey there!  Welcome back to another Stampin' UP! Artisan Design Team Blog hop!  If you are hopping with us today then you may have arrived here from the fabulous Cathy Caines.  Isn't she amazing? As we are a group of 20 demonstrators from around the world- our blogs are written in many different languages.  Please be sure to use Google Translate so that you can follow along in your language.  You don't wanna miss out on any of the fabulous details!

Today we are sharing lots of gorgeous projects created using the Sharing Sweet Thoughts Stamp Set. This sweet stamp set is the Ronald McDonald House Chairities (RMHC) stamp set.  For those of you who do not know what the RMHC is- the Ronald McDonald House Chairities keeps families close to each other and surrounded by love when their children are receiving medical treatment far from home.  Each year Stampin' UP! supports the RMHC by donating time and money.

When I saw this stamp set in the catalog the first thing that came to mind was kids.  I thought how fun would it be to create something for a child to use!  I remember when I was little I was obsessed with office supplies so it was only natural that I wanted to create mini notebooks!

These aren't just any notebook either!  As you can see from the picture above- they are also contain a fun feature that any child would be sure to love- a shaker!  They are absolutely adorable!

Here are a few closeups!

See this one below?  It actually has life like looking grass!  To create this effect- I simply used Paper Snips to make fringe from my Garden Green Card Stock.  I then curled the grass in different directions using the bone folder.  Super cute with the butterfly peeking up from behind the grass!

See how all the strawberries look in the jar?  To create this effect- I stamped the strawberries image twice, colored them with Watercolor Pencils and an Aqua Painter, then cut them out and intertwined them together.  Super simple and fun!

I hope you have enjoyed my mini notebooks!  If you're ready to continue along on the hop, click the Artisan button below to head on over to the amazingly talented Holly Stene!

Stampin' UP! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop Carols of Christmas part 2

The focus of our hop today is the gorgeous new Carols of Christmas Stamp Set and coordinating Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies.  During the month of August- YOU have early access to this gorgeous bundle!  Wanna save 10% off? Simply order the bundle instead of ordering each item individually.

The first project I have to share is an adorable little Striped Treat Bag that has been altered to look like a mini lunch sack.  I love that these little treat bags can easily be converted from one size to another!

I love how versatile the Carols of Christmas Stamp Set is.  It looks amazing when stamped in non traditional holiday colors as well as the traditional holiday colors.  Once again this week- my projects are all non traditional.

For my card- I wanted to create a card that was easy to duplicate.  This one fits the bill to a T!

It's a little difficult to see all the fabulous details so here's a closeup!
Lots of ink splatter, Clear Wink of Stella splatter, see through accents and so much more!
Did you notice the pleated and sewn Vellum?

One of my favorite items to use on my projects are the White Perfect Accents.  Just in case you're having a hard time locating them on my card- I have removed the white liner that comes on the back of them to create a see through embellishment.  So fun!

I hope you have enjoyed my project!  If you're ready to continue along on the hop, click the Artisan button below to head on over to the amazingly talented Holly Stene!
