Hand Stitched Hearts

Good morning stampers!
A few nights ago I was trying to brainstorm for ideas.  Unfortunately I kept coming up blank.  I decided to go to bed instead.  Then BAM! Right in the middle of the night an idea popped into my head!  Luckily I had a pen and some paper on my night stand or the idea would've been lost!

Here is what I came up with:

It's not overly fancy but it sure is cute!  It was very easy to create as well. I can't wait to send it off to a special someone!
Happy Thursday!

Retro Sketches #47

Good morning stampers!
Today I have a Valentine's Day card to share!  It was created using a sketch that I found at Retro Sketches a week or so ago.  I absolutely love this layout!  It makes for a card that is both simple and sophisticated all at the same time.

What do you think?  Do you like the layout?
Have a fantastic day!

Patterned Occasions gift

Good Morning!
Since it's Sale-a-Bration I wanted to share a few of the items that you can choose from for making a $50 purchase.  I created gift set that consists of 5- 3"x 3" cards and matching gift box.  The DSP on the box and on the cards is called Sycamore Street.  It's a beautiful array of fun and colorful pages.

The next item is a stamp set called Patterned Occasions.  I wasn't sure if I liked this set at first but let me tell you- it has won my heart!  What cute and precious cards can be created using this set!

The third item that you can earn from Sale-a-Bration is the Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button set.  I didn't use any of the buttons on my cards but I used the ribbon! The ribbon comes in Pool Party, Island Indigo and Tangerine Tango.  You get all 3 spools of ribbon as well as 36 buttons (12 ea. of 3 different colors Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango and Pool Party).

The last picture I have to share is a close-up of the box.  The flower on the box is made from the new Creped Filter Paper that is available in the new Spring Catalog.  The "Just Because" sentiment is from the Sale-a-Bration set called Vintage Verses.

Orders can be placed online through my website, via email or phone.  Let me know if you have any questions!!!

Hearts a Flutter

Good Morning!
I saw this card on the Stampin' Up! Valentine's board on Pinterest so I thought I would case it.  It was originally designed by Allison Ohran.  I love the layout.  It's simple yet beautiful!  I used the Honeycomb Embossing folder, Hearts a Flutter stamp set, Hearts a Flutter framelits, Lovely Little Labels stamp set and the Little Labels Punch Pack.

Remember that it's Sale-a-Bration so you will earn a FREE product with every $50 purchase!  Have a great day!

Oh, Hello

One of my favorite new sets in the Spring catalog is called Oh, Hello. I love the chevron oval, the rose and the sentiments. There are so many possibilities that can be made- cards, scrapbook pages, 3D projects and the list goes on! Below is a card that I CASED from my fellow Inking Everything team member Penny Smiley. I love the layout and the colors. It's the perfect Thank You card. Thanks Penny!

Thanks for stopping by!

Get Well

Good morning!
Since the flu season is in full swing and many are sick- I thought I'd share a get well wishes card. I've been on a bit of a Valentine's Day kick lately so I thought it would be a nice change.

To make this card, I used all new product!  (with the exception of the card stock).  The DSP is from the Tea for Two pack.  The Oval Framelits were used to create the nesting ovals.  I used the rose stamp from the Oh, Hello stamp set (greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes).  Last but certainly not least is the 5/8" Flower Trim ribbon.  On this card- I cut 3 roses from the ribbon and dyed them with a mixture of 70% rubbing alcohol and 5-6 drops of Island Indigo reinker.  I found it easiest to make the dye mixture into an empty Stampin' Spritz bottle.  The roses took less than 5 minutes to completely dry and they are pretty!

Do you have any cards, 3D projects or techniques that you would like to see on my blog?  Leave me a comment or send me an email!
Happy Friday!
