Hey there stampers! I've been playing around with a super fun stamp set this weekend! It's called Hippo Happiness. This stamp set has 27 different images. It's a mixture of the cutest animals and some super fun coordinating sentiments.
What makes it even more fun are the coordinating dies! They are called Hippo & Friends. This is a pretty large die set. There are 25 dies total and they cut out the animal shapes, flowers, and several other frame images.
Here's the card I created tonight using both the stamp set and coordinating dies.
To create this card:
- Cut a piece of Whisper White Card Stock to 4" x 10" and score it at 5".
- Using a Sponge Dauber and Magenta Madness Ink and the dotted pattern from the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks- sponge the background
- Cut two 3-1/2" squares and score them in half diagonally and adhere to the card base on the back side only. The triangles will overlap on the front but that's ok- the belly band hides it.
- Cut a piece of Magenta Madness Card Stock to 4-1/4" x 5-1/4" and adhere the dotted layer.
- Cut a piece of Vellum Card Stock to 1-1/4" x 11" and wrap loosely around the card to create the belly band.
- Embellish the belly band as you wish! For my card- I used the Hippo & Friends Dies to create a framed image.
Super easy to create and fun to receive! I hope you have enjoyed my project!
