A little pumpkin...

Hello there!
Thanks for stopping by!  Today I have a super cute little treat box to share with you!  It was created using the brand new Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Die from the Holiday Mini.  This lil' pumpkin was ridiculously easy to make!
First- I cut two of the box shapes from the Curvy Keepsake Box Die, adhered them together and then used the straight lines image from Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to add some decoration.  Once fully assembled- I then used the medium sized leaf image from the Fall Fest stamp set to create 2 leaves for the top.  A 1/8" strip of Old Olive card stock was used to create a small coil.  The little pumpkin wasn't complete until I added a tiny Linen Thread bow and a Linen Thread coil.

How perfect for a little classroom treat!  At less than 5 minutes to create- these will easily be a go to favorite for me!  I'm thinking these would also be adorable to use as place cards at Thanksgiving.  Fill with some Autumn Harvest mix, add a name and it's good to go!

Monday Montage 27: For all Things

Hello there and welcome back for the bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop.  You should have arrived here from the wonderful Cathy Casey's blog.  If not and I'm your first stop- no worries! Simply use the back/next buttons at the bottom of this post to navigate your way around the hop.

My card tonight features one of my new favorite stamp sets- For all Things.  This set is simply beautiful.  Not only does it have watercolor images (without all the work!) but it also has some fabulous sentiments as well!  For this card- I chose to use some fall like colors- Crushed Curry, Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss, Soft Suede and Cajun Craze.  You'll notice that the colors on this card aren't as vivid as they normally are.  This is because I inked the image and stamped it onto scrap paper first to create a much more muted look.

Don't you just LOVE the button?  It was actually created using two of the brand new and absolutely gorgeous Gold Basic Metal Buttons.  I simply layered them together using Linen Thread.  The little pennants to the side were created using the new Color Me Autumn Washi tape and stapled to the card layer using the new Handheld Stapler.

Thanks for stopping by!  Hopefully I'm not your last stop and that you'll click the next button to head on over to the fabulous Dara Gloden's blog.

Still don't have your copy of the Brand New HOLIDAY MINI?  Email me!  I'm happy to send one out to you!

August My Paper Pumpkin

Hi!
I'm back...with another fabulous card!  My card tonight was created using the August My Paper Pumpkin kit and a few embellishments.  The kit this month was AWESOME!  Instead of using the card bases from the kit- I chose to create my own!

My color combination for this card was Pool Party, Island Indigo and Calypso Coral.  I'm not sure if you've had a chance to try the new 1/4" Cotton Ribbon yet but if not- I highly recommend it!  The colors available are gorgeous and I can't forget to mention how easy it is to work with!

Hello?  Is anyone there?  I know.  It seems like forever since I posted to my blog regularly.  As I mentioned before- it's been a struggle finding the right balance between my regular 40 hours/week job and my passion for stamping.  Thankfully the Holiday Mini Catalog is coming out soon.  It will push me to create lots of new projects with all the fabulous new products!

My project for tonight is a card created with some of my favorite products!  Yes- I do say that a LOT!  *Could* be because I love just about everything in the Stampin' Up! Catalog!  Ok who am I kidding?  I love EVERYTHING!

Not really sure why I created a card with a heart on it in the middle of August but when I sat down to work at my desk- this is idea is what popped into my head!  Sometimes ya just gotta roll with it!
Have a fabulous evening and happy stampin'!

Monday Montage 26: Truly Grateful

Hello there and welcome back for the bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop.  You should have arrived here from the wonderful Cathy Casey's blog.  If not and I'm your first stop- no worries! Simply use the back/next buttons at the bottom of this post to navigate your way around the hop.

Tonight's project is a card featuring the Truly Grateful stamp set.  This set was originally released in last year's Holiday Mini Catalog and I'm so happy that it made it into the 2014-2015 Annual Catalog.  I LOVE this set!  I'm not a fan of fall (or fall weather) because I know that it means that winter is just around the corner and I much prefer sunshine and 80 degree days!  But- this set is sure does make for some beautiful fall cards!

I made a card very similar to tonight's project  last year but wanted to update it with a few changes.  My color scheme for tonight was Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, Crushed Curry and Lost Lagoon. I rounded opposite corners using the Project Life Corner Rounder punch.

My next project is a project that can be created in approximately 5 minutes or less.  I have received a few emails lately about projects that can be done with very little time.  This little treat box was created using the Fry Box Big Shot die, the Mini Banner punch and the Banner Banter stamp set.  Super simple and oh so cute!

Thanks for stopping by!  Hopefully I'm not your last stop and that you'll click the next button to head on over to the fabulous Dara Gloden's blog.

Flamingo Lingo

Hello there!  Did anyone miss me?  It seems like forever since I've been able to post regularly.  It's been super busy around here- work, vacation and just normal everyday life.  I wasn't able to attend the absolutely amazing Stampin' Up! Convention this year in Salt Lake City like I did last year which makes me really sad!  I didn't think I'd miss going as much as I do.  As I browse my friend's blogs I see lots of fun and exciting things that I missed out on.  Meeting up with friends, touring the home office, swapping cards, awards night, etc...The list just goes on.  All I have to say about that is that I will NOT be missing it next year!  Who else wants to join me?

I do actually have something to share with you.  It's a card that I created with the new Ronald McDonald House stamp set and it's called Flamingo Lingo.  I was so excited to see a stamp set with a flamingo in it!  I have tons of ideas and uses for this set!  It is SUPER cute!

This card was created using Melon Mambo card stock, Sweet Taffy DSP, the Large Polka Dot embossing folder and the Flamingo Lingo stamp set.  There's still time to take advantage of the but 3, get 1 free DSP offer!  Visit  MY STORE to shop for all your Stampin' Up! needs!
Be sure to check back tomorrow!  It's time for another bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop!
Happy stampin'!

Monday Montage 23: Celebrating the 4th of July!

Hello there and welcome back for the bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop.  You should have arrived here from the wonderful Cathy Casey's blog.  If not and I'm your first stop- no worries! Simply use the back/next buttons at the bottom of this post to navigate your way around the hop.

Did you enjoy the 4th of July holiday?  The weekend was busy here!  My husband and I went to visit both of our parents in New York State.  We watched some fireworks on Friday, went out to lunch/dinner with family/friends and then on Saturday we went to a casino for a little while!   Oh- and I can't forget LOTS of driving!  We decided to take the MINI on it's first official road trip!  FUN!!!

My card tonight is a card to celebrate the 4th of July holiday!  To create it- I used the June My Paper Pumpkin kit.  I LOVE this kit!  It's so fun and festive!  The only items not included in the kit was the Whisper White, Night of Navy and Real Red card stock.

It's hard to gauge the size of the card from the picture but it's pretty good sized.  It's a 6" x 6"!   I wanted to do something other than the usual A2 standard card size.  This card definitely isn't mailable but it sure is fun to hand out to friends!
