#tgifc197 Color Challenge

Hey there stampers!  Welcome back for another TGIF Challenge!  Today we are having a Color Challenge using Coastal Cabana, Berry Burst and Pineapple Punch.  This is such a bright and colorful combination!

Since February is the month of love I wanted to create a "love" themed card.  This fun card features the Labels to Love and Treat Time stamp sets from the Annual Catalog and the Well Said stamp set from the Occasions Catalog.

On the Coastal Cabana layer- I used the cluster of hearts from the Treat Time stamp set to create a border for the Berry Burst layer.  The LOVE image from Labels to Love was stamped 6 times to create a tic-tac-toe board.  (Did you notice that Coastal Cabana won with 3 diagonally?)
A Pearlized Doily peeks out from behind the Berry Burst layer.

The 1/8" Pineapple Punch Grosgrain Ribbon adds the perfect amount of brightness to tie this fun card all together.  A simple "you" banner tied to the bow completes the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you'll play along with our challenge this week!

Product list:

#tgifc195 Inspiration Challenge - Disney Style!

Hey there stampers!  Welcome back for another TGIF Challenge!  Our challenge today is All about Disney!  We are each making cards inspired by our favorite Disney characters.  Who is your favorite character?

Winnie the Pooh is my favorite Disney character so it's only fitting that my card be created in honor of Pooh.

Everyone knows that that silly old bear loves hunny so a card with a bee hive was in order.  Creating the beeswax was super simple using Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Since Pooh always seems to find trouble while searching for hunny- I have added a few bees in the mix.

As you can see from the picture above- the bees are dimensional.  To create this look- I simply stamped, die cut and colored 2 bees for each finished bee.  Using a Stampin' Dimensional- I carefully layered one bee on top of the next.  A few layers of Clear Wink of Stella were added to make the bees sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you'll play along with our challenge this week!

Product list:
Card Stock:  Whisper White, Crushed Curry
Inks:  VersaMark, Tuxedo Black, Dark Pool Party Stampin' Blend, Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend
Stamps:  Labeler Alphabet, Dragonfly Dreams
Tools/other supplies:  Pearl Basic Jewels, Clear Wink of Stella, Big Shot, Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Monday Montage #130

Hello there stampin' friends!  Happy New Year!  Welcome back to our Monday Montage blog hop!

Do you ever just fall in love with a stamp set that you didn't think you'd actually like?  That's exactly what happened to me with the Incredible Like You Stamp Set.

It's not that I didn't "like" the stamp set- it's just that I have a TON of floral stamp sets that I don't use very often and I wasn't sure how much I would actually use it.  Honestly- it's now one of my go to sets!

Part of what makes this stamp set so fun is all of the different floral elements.  There's lots of flowers, leafy images, stems and sweet sentiments.

#tgifc193 Color Challenge: Melon Mambo, Lemon Lime Twist, Smoky Slate/Silver

Hey there stampers!  Welcome to my first post of the New Year!  I'm so excited to share that I have joined the amazing design team at TGIF Challenges!  I cannot wait for you to see all of the gorgeous creations this week!

My card tonight is- for the most part, a CAS card.  I was really trying for the #simplestamping effect but couldn't resist adding a few extra embellishments.

The stamped images are from the brand new Incredible Like You Stamp Set from the Occasions Catalog.  In the stamp set- the stem image is actually pretty short. To make the stem longer- I simply stamped the stem twice (one just slightly above the other).  The DSP shown is from the Gingham Gala 6" x 6" DSP stack and it is super cute!

Product list:
Card Stock:  Whisper White, Smoky Slate
DSP:  Gingham Gala
Inks:  Smoky Slate, Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo
Stamps:  Incredible Like You
Tools/other supplies:  Pearl Basic Jewels, Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Trim, Silver Mini Sequin Trim

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy Stampin'!

Monday Montage #129

Hello there stampin' friends!  Welcome back to another edition of Monday Montage.

Tonight I'm sharing another Christmas card that I'll be sending my friends and family.  I love Buffalo Check and it is amazing at Christmas time so it's only fitting that this card also be created with the Buffalo Check Stamp Set.

The Detailed Deer Thinlits dies were used to create the deer image.  The Seasonal Wreath Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder was used to add some dimension to the background.  The word Merry comes from the Festive Farmhouse Elements and pairs nicely with the Merry Christmas to All Stamp Set (which is where the Christmas sentiment is from).

Creation Station: Celebrate the Season

Hey there stampin' friends!  Today I am hopping with the amazing Creation Station Design Team.    I'm so happy to join this team of amazing demonstrators and I can't wait to see what everyone else has to share!

Our projects today share how we Celebrate the Season.  My project is an adorable snow globe that was inspired by Mindy Backes.  Last month she shared a super cute snow globe for the Fancy Friday Blog Hop and I figured I'd try my hand at making one.  First- I must apologize for the pictures.  I'm not really sure how to get a "good" picture of a snow globe but I have tried my best.

Please ignore the glare from my light.  Unfortunately I couldn't get a picture without it.  The snow globe measures approximately 5" tall and as you can see- is really cute.  To create the globe- I punched (what seemed like a ton) of springs using the Sprig Punch.  The card stock I chose to use was the Shaded Spruce.  I also wanted my tree to sport some bling so I used the Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper (also in Shaded Spruce).

The tree itself measures just a little over 3" tall.  It's not very big but it sure is adorable!

Since I had been preparing for a Craft Show (Christmas in Ida) I thought it only fitting that I create several of these gorgeous globes to sell at my booth.  I only created 12 total so they are very limited!

I hope you have enjoyed my project for today.  Please click the next button below to see what my friend Andrea has created to share.
