Football Sunday!

Good Afternoon!
Today is the first full day I've been back from vacation.  My husband and I went on a week and a half long trip.  We visited many wonderful places.  Travelling from Michigan, to Boston, New York City, Vermont, and finally Canada.  I must admit- as much as I love to travel- I missed home!  I haven't been able to stamp or get much accomplished since I got home on Friday.  Too busy playing catch-up!

I do have a card to share though!  It's super cute and is a CASE from Becky Roberts.

Please don't forget that today is the LAST day to enter for my BLOG CANDY giveaway.  All you have to do is leave your answer the question in the blog candy post in the comments section.  I will be choosing the winner tonight around 9pm.  The winner will be posted on my blog tonight so be sure to check back!

Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

Chilly Sunday!

Good Morning!
I apologize for the lack of blog posts lately.  I am actually out of town on a little vacation.  Today, I am in New York City.  We are going to go to the 9/11 Memorial and then to 5th Ave to shop for a while.  Later tonight we will be heading to Radio City Music Hall to see Jack White perform.

I made a few items before I left to share on my blog.  Today's card is actually a card that I created for a friend's baby shower.  My friend and her husband are HUGE Pearl Jam fans so I thought it would be cute to make a baby onesie card that resembled a concert t-shirt.

Here is what I came up with:

I know that a skull and crossbones isn't exactly what you would expect to find on a baby onesie however Pearl Jam fans absolutely love it!

Card Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Midnight Muse, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White
Tools:  Paper Trimmer, 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Paper Snips, SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, MDS (My Digital Studio)

Thursday. Already?

Seriously?  It's Thursday already?  Where do the days go?  Soon it will be Halloween and then we all know what happens from there!  The time REALLY goes quickly then!

I've finally had a little time to play around with the Holiday Stocking Bigz L Die for the Big Shot.  I wasn't sure how big it was going to be when I purchased it.  I wasn't even sure what I would make with it.  I just knew I wanted it!  I am sure glad I bought it!  Not only did I make a  little Stocking to hang but I also made a cute Stocking card that opens just like a regular card!  The actual Stocking itself measures approximately
 5 1/2" X 4 3/4".

Card Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Gumball Green, Whisper White, Primrose Petals
DSP:  Snow Festival
Stamp Set:  Mixed Medley (Hostess Set from the 2012 Holiday Catalog)
Inks:  Primrose Petals, Gumball Green
Embellishments:  Primrose Petals Satin Stitched Ribbon
Tools:  Big Shot, Snow Flurry Bigz Die, 1 1/4" Scalloped Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals

Enjoy your day!

Easel Card

Good Afternoon!
Today I have a card to share.  It's not my original design.  I CASED it from Susan Adams.  It's an easel card  that has an oval cut out so that a battery operated tea light shines through.  It is absolutely adorable!  I didn't have the exact same supplies that Susan used to create her card so I used what I had on hand.

I'm pretty sure this the first "easel" card that I've ever made.  I think I'll try to make more but for different occasions.  These cards can even lay flat for mailing!  Isn't it adorable?

Card Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, White Vellum
DSP:  Festival of Prints DSP Stack
Stamp Set:  Joyous Celebrations
Embellishments:  Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon
Tools:  Paper Trimmer, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Bone Folder, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, SNAIL, Sticky Strip, Finishing Touches Edgelits, Big Shot, Paper Snips, Decorative Label Punch, Curly Label Punch, Glue Dots, Extra Large Oval Punch
