Aha ha!

Have you ever had an "aha ha!" moment?  Strange question I know.  You see I had been working on a project for a few days and I just kept pushing it aside.  I just wasn't getting the vision I had in my head to work on paper.   This went on for several days and then as I sat at my desk tonight it hit me!  Aha ha!

I had originally spelled out Fiesta with an I (instead of the cactus) but it just looked too....well...boring.  I wanted to use the cactus as an embellishment but it wasn't working on the end by the A and there was no room to put it behind a layer.  What a dilemma!  I'm glad the problem was solved!

This little gift bag was created using the Gift Bag Punch Board.  I used my favorite pattern from the Festive Birthday DSP to stay within the Fiesta theme.  The DSP itself is like a party on paper!  Super cute and oh so fun!

Here are both items together.  I LOVE how the set came out.  The card is definitely a favorite of mine!  Thanks for stopping by!

Card Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Whisper White, Melon Mambo

Tools/other supplies:  Big Shot, Large Letters Framelits, Fiesta Time Framelits, Gold Metallic Thread, Cucumber Crush Thick Bakers Twine, Whisper White Mini Pompom Trim, Gold Sequin Trim, Gold Binder Clips, Gift Bag Punch Board

Congrats!

Hey, hey, hey!  I'm back with another CAS card for Monday!  This card was created using just a few supplies and can be made in less than 10 minutes!  No fuss- no muss!  Simple yet sweet!  The new Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies make it all possible!

I simply cut out 2 hearts from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies from Real Red Card Stock and combined it with the "congrats" phrase die cut from a Gold Foil Sheet.  Splashed on some Gold Wink of Stella and VIOLA!  There it is!  Super simple- super fun!
Thanks for stopping by!

Monday Montage #72

Hello there and welcome back for the bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop. I'm so happy you joined us!  Be sure to visit all 10 stops to see what other fabulous projects we have created to share with you.

The card I created to share tonight uses one of my all time favorite stamp sets called Kinda Eclectic.  This set is an oldie but a goodie!  The stamps are gorgeous and create the best collage cards!

It's a little difficult to see from the photo above- but the butterfly is 3 Dimensional.  I used the Big Shot and the Butterflies Thinlits Dies to cut out 4 butterflies.  Then I sewed the butterfly stack together.  Simply separate the wings to give a 3 Dimensional look!

Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you enjoyed my project!

Live, Love, Grow

Do you love succulents?  They are every so trendy right now!  I'm beyond thrilled that Stampin' Up! has a brand new set titled Live, Love, Grow in the new Annual Catalog.  This set is filled with several stamps to create your very own succulent garden!

My projects tonight all feature the Live, Love, Grow set.  The first card is my favorite!  I love everything about it! Especially the new Copper Metallic Thread.  It spools up nicely to add an extra hint of color.
The second card is a CAS card (clean and simple).  This card can be created in 10 minutes or less making it the perfect card for stampers of all levels.  What's nice is that even though it's not as detailed as some of my other cards it's just as gorgeous.  Sometimes less is more!
The third card I created is a 3" x 3" card.  The layer on top is made from Watercolor Paper.  The image itself was faux watercolored.  The edges were distressed with scissors to create a worn look.  Once again I've chosen the Copper Metallic Thread to peek out from under the layer.

As you can see in the picture- I've also created a coordinating envelope.  I only shared the one for the 3" x 3" card but I did make them for all 3 cards.
I hope you enjoyed my projects for tonight!  Thanks for stopping by!

As I mentioned before- these cards are super easy to create and oh so much fun!  Thanks for stopping by!

Monday Montage #71

Hello there and welcome back for the bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop. I'm so happy you joined us!  Be sure to visit all 10 stops to see what other fabulous projects we have created to share with you.

As I was cleaning up my desk so that I could create something to share tonight I came across my VersaMark re-inker, some Silver Embossing Powder, and a tiny paint brush.  Are you thinking what I was thinking?  What can I possibly create using these 3 items.  BAM!  Then it hit me!  I'll make a striped background!

The Birthday Blooms stamp set is not new.  It's been around since the beginning of the year when the Occasions Mini went live.  I'm honestly ashamed to say that tonight is the very first time that I have used this stamp set.  I'm not sure why I put it off for so long because it's such a beautiful set!

This card is truly gorgeous!  The camera didn't  really capture the beauty in it's entirety so you'll just have to take my word for it!  Wanna see what the other fabulous designers have created?  Click the buttons at the bottom of this post to continue on throughout the hop!

Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you enjoyed my project!
