Wacky Wednesday

Good Morning!
So I'm sure you noticed but for some reason Blogger decided not to publish my post from yesterday.  Actually- I can't figure out what happened to it either.  I typed the post before I went to bed and was having issues but I thought that I had them resolved!  I apologize for that!

So let's try this again.  I had a LOT of email comments in regards to the Mini Milk Bottle with the Vintage Tag.  Most people wanted to know where I found my mini bottles.  I'm not actually sure what to say here other than I didn't buy mine from a craft store or a store at all for that matter.  I happened to be having dinner at the Outback Steakhouse last week and saw that they were serving mini milkshakes with paper straws in these cute little bottles.  I couldn't resist the cuteness so I asked the manager if he could sell me a few and sure enough- he did.  BUT don't go rushing to your local Outback in hopes of buying them.  The manager told me that he was not supposed to sell them as they need them for their mini milkshakes.  He made an exception for me but they weren't cheap.
The other question I had was in regards to the lace that runs down the middle of the tag.  Once again- I apologize as that lace is actually retired now.  It is from the Artisan Embellishments Kit.  I am a 100% Stampin' Up! only paper crafter and that lace was perfect for the tag.    So I apologize for using retired product but I couldn't find another way around it using Stampin' Up! only products.

I was also asked to create a card that was similar to the tag from the Vintage Mini Milk Bottle and this is what I came up with.
Card Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
Stamps:  Everything Eleanor, Loving Thoughts
Inks:  Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
Tools:  Stampin' Trimmer, Bone Folder, Paper Snips, Big Shot, Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, Apothecary Framelits, SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, Natural Cotton Trim Ribbon, Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon, Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon, Stampin' Spritzer w/water, Pearl Basic Jewels, Stamping Sponges, hot glue gun/hot glue sticks

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

  1. Love the card Dani, my daughter was over the other day & was drinking a frappuccino in a bottle that looked like a small milk bottle. I told her I wanted it when she finished. It's not as small ad the mini, but I thought it would be pretty with a bouquet of paper flowers. It was a Starbucks that she bought at the gas station.
