This little bag is now large enough to hold a little birthday gift or it can be used for party favors!  Whatever you choose to put in the bag is sure to delight!

Snuggles and Smooches

Hello there!  I'm still in Valentine's Day mode so I hope you don't mind me sharing another Valentine!  This card was created with one of my absolute FAVORITE photopolymer sets- Snuggles and Smooches.  The stamp set itself looks like this:

Adorable, right?  I LOVE the string images.  When stamped by themselves- they look like flowers. Want a more dimensional look? Try adding layers over the stamped image!  Such a FUN set!

For my card below- I began with a piece of Watercolor paper.  I used an Aquapainter to brush on some Pool Party and Pink Pirouette inks.  The large string image was stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder.  Using my favorite rule (the rule of 3's) I added the smaller string image stamped in Real Red ink.  Since I wanted the Real Red images to blend in with the other watercoloring- I used the Aquapainter directly onto the stamped image to make the ink bleed.

Card Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Real Red, Whisper White, Watercolor paper
DSP:  Subtles DSP stack, Stacked with Love DSP stack
Stamps:  Snuggles and Smooches
Inks:  Pool Party, Pink Pirouette, Real Red
Tools/other supplies:  Big Shot, Starburst Framelits, 2" Circle Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, 1/8" Real Red Taffeta Ribbon, Confetti Heart Border Punch, Heat Tool, White Stampin' Emboss Powder, Stacked with Love Designer Washi Tape, Aquapainter

One of my new favorite stamps from the Occasions Mini Catalog is the Hello Life set.  This set is a coordinating product for the Hello Life Project Kit on page 6.  This kit makes a super cut home decor piece. Complete with lots of my favorite things!  Pom Pom's, banners, die-cut frames, mini clothes pins and much more!
Instead of using the stamp set with the Hello Life Project Kit- I chose to create a card instead!

This card has an adorable shaker frame filled with heart confetti.  How FUN!

Red Rose lace, 1 yd. Blackberry Bliss thin velvet trim, 4 white doilies, 12 adhesive pearls, 1 large metal flower button, 2 small metal buttons, 2 clear buttons, 2 Blushing Bride resin flowers and 1 large white resin flower.
I don't know about you but I can think of a TON of ways to use this kit!
Below is just one of the beautiful projects that I have created.

Isn't it sweet?  LOVE the floral die cut cards! Watercolor paper was used to create the card base as  I wanted to be able to have the colors  show through the flowers of the die cut card.  Using an Aquapainter- I wet the Watercolor paper then added both Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo ink.  After the card was dry- I assembled and embellished!

LOVE

Yep!  It's official!  I am in LOVE with marquee letters!  Little ones, big ones, ones with lights, ones without lights, short ones, tall ones- I'm not picky.  I LOVE them all!  They are WAY too much fun and are as cute as can be!
My card tonight features marquee letters created using the Little Letters Thinlits die set.  I wanted to write the word LOVE and have it look like it was lit up so I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels.  Adorable!

See the little rose?  That little bunch of cuteness was from the Artisan Embellishment Kit.  Absolutely LOVING all the new products available in the Occasions Mini Catalog!

Monday Montage #36

Hello there and welcome back for the bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop.  You should have arrived from the fabulous Cathy Casey's blog. If not and I'm your first stop- Welcome!  Please be sure to use the next/back links to visit the other amazing ladies on this hop as well!  I know they have lots of beautiful projects to share with you!

Tonight's project is an absolutely ADORABLE altered alarm clock.  Yep- you heard me right.   An alarm clock!  Isn't it cute?

One of my favorite elements for this project is the teeny tiny tree.  I had made much larger versions of the trees back before Christmas.  This one starts with squares that are 1/4" and goes all the way up to 1".  It's the perfect size for this project.  The LOVE sentiment was stamped in Whisper White craft ink and embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder.  It's kind of hard to tell from the picture but there is a ton of gold sequin and heart confetti at the bottom.

Here's a close up:

Unfortunately the outside of the alarm clock is super shiny so please ignore my hands that seem to reflect in one of the bells.

January My Paper Pumpkin

Today I received happy mail!  My January My Paper Pumpkin kit is finally here!  Let me just say that this kit might just be my favorite kit so far!  The contents will make 24 absolutely adorable treat bags (for my co-workers of course!) but the stamps are perfect to use right now for Valentine's Day.

No- I'm not sharing what the treat bags look like as I have not created them...yet.  Plus- I'm SURE you've already seen them either via someone else's blog or even better yet- from your own My Paper Pumpkin subscription.  I did however create a super cute Valentine!  I love this card.  It's cute and it's fun.

The big heart was actually part of the bokeh card background that I shared earlier in the week.  Even though the colors by themselves are usually really bright, when I was applying the Whisper White Craft Ink to create the bokeh effect- the colors became somewhat muted.  Unfortunately the bokeh effect is not actually visible very much at all on this card.  That's ok though because it still came out cute!

Stamps:  January My Paper Pumpkin
Inks:  Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party
