Fancy Friday- My Christmas Card

Hello there and welcome back for another Fancy Friday blog hop.  I'm hopping with my fancy friends today- all are either current or former members of the Stampin' UP! Artisan Design Team.  Today- we are sharing our Christmas cards (the ones we will be sending to our friends and family).

Mine is not overly fancy.  In fact it's downright simple to create (or recreate for that matter).  The main colors are Basic Black and Whisper White.  Yes- I know that Basic Black and Whisper White are not traditional Christmas colors but that's ok!  I've added a splash of Merry Merlot and Copper to make it a little more festive.

To create my card- I started with a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Whisper White card base.  A 4" x 5-1/4" Basic Black layer was distressed and adhered to the card base.  A 3-3/4" x 5" Whisper White layer was embossed using the Seasonal Wreath Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and adhered to the top of the Basic Black layer.  Next I inked the Buffalo Check Stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and stamped it onto a Whisper White scrap.  This piece was used to cut the letters J and Y.  A Snowflake Wire Element was used in place of the O.  A Merry Merlot & Copper 5/8" Reversible Ribbon bow was added at the top of the wreath.  Pearl Basic Jewels were added for interest.

I hope you enjoyed my card!  It's always fun to share what I send to my friends and family!  Each year I make a huge variety of cards in which I sell at Craft Shows, at local Vendor events or online via my blog/facebook/instagram.  As always- if there are any items that I have shared that you are interested in purchasing do not hesitate to contact me.

Interested in finding me at a Craft Show?  Your next opportunity will be Saturday 12/1/18 for Christmas In Ida. I will be at the Prince of Peace Church located at 1920 Lewis Ave. IDA, MI from 8:30am-2:30pm. Be sure to come early as several items will sell out!

Please continue along on our hop and visit my friend Sylwia Schreck's beautiful creation!

Monday Montage #128

Hello there stampin' friends!  Welcome back to another edition of Monday Montage.

I have a super cute Christmas card to share today.  This card was created using the Santa's Workshop Specialty DSP.    This DSP is one of my favorites!  It's just so stinkin' cute!  There are santa's, elves, stripes, and so much more!

This little elf is just adorable!  He's pushing a cart filled with Christmas presents from Santa.  Are you on the nice list?  Or have you been naughty?  ðŸ˜‚

To color the elf- I use both the Light and Dark Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blends and the Ivory Stampin' Blend.  Even though the green in the DSP is Garden Green- the Shaded Spruce still looks awesome!

Monday Montage #127

Hello there stampers!  Welcome back to another edition of Monday Montage.  I don't know about you but I'm super excited to see what everyone has created this week!

Tonight I'm sharing the last of my Halloween Cards.  These 2 were created as part of an order and they are super cute!

The first one is my favorite.  But only because it has a mummy cat!   I sometimes think my cat is trying to dress up as a mummy.  She loves to unroll the toilet paper LOL.

The second card features a cute little party animal!  It's a puppy in a witches hat.  What a fun disguise!

I hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween!

Monday Montage #126 Mini Pillow Boxes

Hello there stampers!  Welcome back to another edition of Monday Montage.  I don't know about you but I'm super excited to see what everyone has created this week!

Tonight I'm sharing some of the items I created for my upcoming Craft Show at the St. Mary's Church in Monroe, MI on Saturday 10/20/18.

These little cuties were created with the template I shared last fall.  CLICK HERE FOR TEMPLATE.  Simply print the template out- cut out and trace onto your choice of Designer Series Paper or Card Stock and embellish as you wish!

These measure just under 2-1/2" long and will fit exactly one Hershey's Miniature (or Lindt Swiss Premium Chocolate bar).  They may be tiny but they are adorable!

These were embellished with a 1-1/4" Pumpkin Pie Circle, a 1-3/8" Basic Black Scalloped Circle, the moon from the Twinkle Builder Punch and a scrap of Mango Melody.   The cat is from the Cauldron Framelits Dies.  The sentiment is from the Cauldron Bubble Stamp Set and was stamped in Tuxedo Black ink.  A tiny Linen Thread bow was added to finish them off.

OSAT Blog Hop Ghouls, Goblins & Gourds

Hey there stampers! Welcome back for another fabulous One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop!  It's time for some Ghouls, Goblins & Gourds!

Halloween is my favorite holiday.  I love to decorate and be festive.  I also love to create Halloween cards and treat boxes for our trick or treaters!  Nothing too scary though!  Just a little Trick or Tweet!

This little set was created using the Trick or Tweet Stamp Set as well as the Spooky Sweets Stamp Set and coordinating Spooky Bats Punch.  The tiny little bird is just the sweetest!  He's decked out in a white sheet and carrying a little pumpkin trick or treat bag.

The adorable ghost background comes from the Toil & Trouble DSP.  Surprisingly I'm not a fan of purple but I adore Gorgeous Grape!  It's so cute when used for Halloween!

The treat box was created using the Takeout Thinlits Dies and some Vellum.  I stamped the Vellum using the misty image from the Spooky Sweets Stamp Set.  The Bats were stamped in Gorgeous Grape and cut out using the coordinating Spooky Bats Punch.   I then filled it with Halloween themed Hershey Kisses.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects for today!  Be sure to follow along on the hop!

Happy Halloween!

Good afternoon stampers!  Today I have the sweetest little Halloween project to share.  A few weeks ago a fellow demonstrator (Jacque Williams) had shared an adorable tree that she had created.   Now if you know me- you know that I MUST make the items I fall in love with.  This little tree was no exception!  The trees that Jacque shared were Christmas Trees.  Since I LOVE Halloween- I thought I'd make a Halloween tree!

Isn't it just the cutest?  It measures just slightly over 5" tall.  For the branches on the tree- I used the Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper and Basic Black Card Stock.  My tree base is an empty wooden spool of thread that has been embellished with a piece of Pumpkin Pie Card Stock that has been stamped using the Buffalo Check Stamp Set.
