Tasteful Touches Sneak Peek #3

Hello there!  Tonight I'm back with another card created with the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set.  I love this set!  It has so many great images!  My card this time around is featuring the feather image.   There's not a die that cuts the feather out but as you can see from my picture- it's pretty simple to fussy cut.  

This card was pretty simple to create.  I began by watercoloring stripes onto a piece of Shimmer White Card Stock using Smoky Slate Ink and an Aqua Painter.

Next I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and the brand new Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder to create a Calypso Coral layer.  See that new Shimmery White shape?  That was cut using the Tasteful Labels Dies.  

I stamped the feather in Calypso Coral Ink onto a piece of Shimmer White Card Stock.  The first time was full strength.  The second was stamped off once.  The third time it was stamped off twice.  I then fussy cut each feather out.  I used the VersaMark Reinker to add splotches of ink along the outer edges of two feathers and then heat embossed using the Heat Tool and Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder.
