Oh Snap

I'm not sure about your wishlist- but mine is a mile long!  The brand new January-June 2021 Mini Catalog is filled with so many fabulous products!  I want them ALL!

Tonight's project is an adorable card created with the stamp set Oh Snap.  This set features a snappy crocodile, a frog, a bird and a plethora of silly sentiments!  Just like the one featured below!

This card is very simple to create and is pretty straight forward.  Nothing special!  The fussy cutting of the crocodile went fairly quickly.  I even fussy cut the frog!  The little lotus flowers were colored in using the Melon Mambo Stampin' Write Marker.  See the adorable little hearts?  They are teeny tiny Resin Hearts Embellishments!  You will LOVE them!  They are perfectly sized!

Thanks for dropping by!  Be sure to check back for more sneak peek's before the catalog goes live on January 5th!

Monday Montage #180

Who's ready for a sneak peek? That's exactly what I have to share today 😊
It's a card created using a brand new bundle from the upcoming January-June 2021 Mini Catalog.

This card was created using the absolutely adorable Friendly Flamingo Bundle.  The Friendly Flamingo Stamp Set has 12 photopolymer stamps.  Some are sentiments while others are images used to create beach themed scenery.   In addition to the stamps- there is also an amazing set of Flamingo Dies that match!  There are flowers, wings, flamingos and foliage.

To create this card- I first began by using a Blending Brush to create a beach themed background.  I used Balmy Blue, Pool Party, Pacific Point and Sahara Sand (in that order).  Using a Water Painter- I flicked water specks onto the beach background.
The foliage was created by stamping 3 of the foliage/floral images in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink then coloring them in with the following Stampin' Blends colors:  Granny Apple Green (Light/Dark), Pretty Peacock (Light/Dark), Flirty Flamingo (Light/Dark) and Daffodil Delight (Dark).

As you can see from the picture above- the foliage image is pretty large.  I used 3 images to achieve the look on the bottom of the card.  The corner images were angled and adhered to the card before being trimmed down.  The center foliage is popped using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The stamped flamingo is  much larger than the one cut out with the die.  Both are adorable and look cute when paired together!

Monday Montage #179

Hello stampers!  It's Monday and that means it's time for another Monday Montage Blog Hop!

My project today is a card that could be used for Valentine's Day or just because...
The woven heart is the main element on this card.  It looks difficult to create but it was actually rather simple!

To create the woven heart image- I began by stamping the Buffalo Check Stamp in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a piece of Real Red Card Stock.  Next I cut the stamped image into 1/8" strips.  I carefully began weaving them into a square.  After the square was complete- I chose the desired heart shape from the Stitched Be Mine Dies and cut it out.

Tip: The size of the woven square needs to be a little bit larger than the die chosen to cut.  This helps make it a little easier to cut the image correctly.  Also- select a die that isn't overly detailed (like the heart pictured above).
