Monday Montage #148

Welcome back! It's time for a Monday Montage Blog Hop.  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

It was a busy weekend here!  I've been creating lots of pretty things for my upcoming craft show on October 12th at the Raisinville Elementary School in Monroe, MI.
I've been super busy creating lots of paper crafts as well as pumpkins and gnomes.  Speaking of gnomes- be sure to check out the picture at the end of this post- They are so stinkin' cute!

Here's the thank you card that I created tonight.  The Bird Ballad suite is perfect for a Thank You card!  The colors are so pretty!

Here's a closeup:

The birds were all colored using the Stampin' Blends in the following colors:  Pool Party, Petal Pink, Old Olive and Crumb Cake- both light and dark were used.  YES!  This card will also be at the craft show!

Here's the gnomes I've been busy creating!  I hope everyone will come on out to the craft show!  It's going to be a great day!

The scarecrow may just be my favorite.  He's only about 2-1/2"-3" tall and he is beyond adorable!
Interested in buying anything pictured on my blog?  Send me an email!  I'm happy to help!

#tgifc 229 Sketch Challenge

Hi friends!  Today at #TGIF Challenges it's sketch time!  I love sketch challenges because half the work is already done!  The rest is easy peasy!

I have a bit of a different take on the sketch.  I've turned it the other direction and moved some things around!  Which is perfectly OK!

As you can see I'm still a bit obsessed with the Spooktacular Bash Stamp Set and coordinating Monster Bash Designer Series Paper.  I just can't get enough!

It's a bit difficult to see in the picture but the count has a shiny cloak.  To create this effect- I used the Wink of Stella pen to give it some shimmer and then I colored it in using the Fine Tip Glue Pen.  I also did this with his eyes.  Kinda adds to the spooky effect!

Please join our challenge this week!  The deadline for entries is 10am PST on Thursday 9/19 and I would LOVE to see what you create for our sketch challenge!

Monday Montage #147

Welcome back! It's time for a Monday Montage Blog Hop.  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Are you happy the new Holiday Catalog has finally arrived and orders can now be placed?  I know I sure am!  I have so many new products to share it's tough to choose just what goes first!

As September is in full swing- I made another Halloween card to share.  Tonight's card features the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper as well as the Spooktacular Bash Stamp Set.  I LOVE both!  They are awesome!

My favorite DSP pattern from the Monster Bash DSP is the library pattern.  It's full of books and they have spooky titles!  For this card- I fussy cut several books and popped them up on dimensionals so that the books look like they are sticking out.  It's tough to see in the pictures but it's SO cute!

Here's a top view however I think the top picture shows the dimension much better than this one!

The Mummy was colored using the light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blend and the background around him was colored using the Light Pool Party Stampin' Blend.  Creepy was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and stamped onto a piece of Pumpkin Pie scrap.  The Ornate Frames Dies were used to create a frame for the mummy as well as the sentiment.

Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins!

Hello there stampers!  Did you know that Stampin' UP! ribbons are perfect for more than just paper crafting?  I created this adorable trio of pumpkins and then embellished them with the four gorgeous ribbons varieties.

The four ribbons I used were the Basic Black Scalloped Edge Ribbon, Scalloped Lace Trim, Linen Thread and Braided Linen Trim.
Aren't they just the cutest?  So fun for fall!
