Welcome Easter

Hello there!  Thanks for stopping by!  Tonight I have a few super cute Easter cards that were created with the Welcome Easter Stamp Set.  I used the same layout for all 3 cards.  I just changed the sentiments, colors and images.

I watercolored a background for each card that matched the color of the card stock.  Balmy Blue, Petal Pink and Daffodil Delight.

Using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks I created a little polka dot layer for each animal.

Using Stampin Blends in coordinating colors- I colored a little piece of Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and adhered it to the top of the watercolor layer using a Glue Dot.

To add a little extra embellishment for each card- I used a Stampin' Blend to color some Pearl Basic Jewels.

Very Versailles...part 2

Hi there!  I'm back today with another gorgeous card created with the Very Versailles Stamp Set.  This may be my favorite card that I've ever created.  It came out beautifully!

To create the watercolored background- I first stamped the image onto a piece of Fluid100 Watercolor Paper.  I then used a Stampin' Spritzer to spritz water all over the front of the card.  I didn't blot or dry the Watercolor Paper.  Instead I let the images slowly melt away.  Once the layer was dry- I re-stamped the images in the same place as the original images and re-wet the paper again.  I repeated this process several times.  The final images I spritzed but not as heavily as the first several times.

I then stamped the script writing in Crumb Cake ink onto a Crumb Cake Card Stock layer.  Using a pair of Paper Snips- I distressed the edges of the Crumb Cake layer. The watercolored layer was then adhered using Stampin' Dimensionals.  The card was embellished using the Be Mine Stitched Dies, the Nature's Thoughts Dies and some Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon.
So pretty!

Monday Montage #161

Hello and welcome back for another Monday Montage Blog Hop!  Are you ready to see all our fabulous projects this week?

Tonight I'm sharing a card created using the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set, In the Tropics Dies and the coordinating Tropical Oasis DSP.
I wasn't sure how I felt about this product suite at first but OMG!  I totally adore the pineapple!  It's so stinkin' sweet!

The pineapple was created using Fluid100 Watercolor Paper, the Daffodil Delight Reinker, the Old Olive Reinker and an Aqua Painter.  I then adhered the bottom portion of the pineapple to a piece of Daffodil Delight Card Stock and fussy cut around it so that the entire pineapple was colored.

One of my favorite things about this suite is the gorgeous DSP.  A little bit of it goes a long way!  Here I've used a scrap behind the pineapple for a little added color and texture.  The main background  is also DSP from the Tropical Oasis DSP and it was embossed using the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder.

The flowers and aloha sentiment were both cut using Grapefruit Grove Card Stock.  The Rest & Relax sentiment was stamped in Pool Party Ink onto Pool Party Card Stock and fussy cut.

Very Versailles

Hello stampers!  UPS dropped a package off at my house today and I could not wait to get home and play!  Inside the package was a gorgeous stamp set called Very Versailles.  I'm not sure why I waited so long to order this set but I'm glad it's finally here!

I love stamp sets with a vintage feel and Very Versailles doesn't disappoint!  Every image is amazing. Pair it with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and you've got the fixings for a perfect card!

I stamped the fancy floralish image in Balmy Blue ink and then onto a piece of Balmy Blue Card Stock.  There's a die in the Stitched So Sweetly set that somewhat matches the image.  It's a tad bit smaller than the stamped image but it still looks great!

Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin' Fancy Friday Favorite SAB

Choosing a favorite is never a simple task.  Or at least for me it isn't.  Especially not when there are so many amazing products to choose from.  Ask me tomorrow and I may change my mind but for today- it's the Golden Honey Specialty DSP.

Why you ask?  Why not!  This gorgeous DSP has so many amazing black/white/gold prints!  I LOVE to create using black/white color schemes!  I am sad to report however that this paper has now sold out and is no longer available.  I may just have to hoard the remainder of what I have...

To create this card- I began by cutting 3 different layers.  A Basic Black layer, a Crushed Curry layer and a Fluid100 Watercolor layer.  The Crushed Curry layer was embossed using the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder.

I then watered down the top of the Fluid100 Watercolor paper using an Aqua Painter.  Next I began adding some color using the Crushed Curry Reinker and a few splashes of Mango Melody Reinker.  After adding some coordinating shapes/stamped images/embellishments my card was complete!
Thanks for stopping by!

Monday Montage #160

Hello and welcome back for another Monday Montage Blog Hop!  Are you ready to see all our fabulous projects this week?

Don't you just love the Bonanza Buddies and coordinating Birthday Bonanza DSP?  Tonight's project is brimming with many elements from the Birthday Bonanza Suite.

This adorable suite contains a lion, a  koala and a toucan!  (not to mention some other pretty cute objects).  My card was created to celebrate a friend's birthday!

I began using a layer of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and added a watercolor wash using an Aqua Painter and the Coastal Cabana Reinker.  After the background dried- I added a lion, some banners and balloons.

It was finished off with a few bows, Assorted Pom Poms and some Pearl Basic Jewels.
Too cute!
I hope you have enjoyed my project!

Dressed To Impress

Well hello there!  Thanks for stopping by!  Tonight I'm sharing another project made with the fabulous Golden Honey Specialty DSP.  Did I mention how much I love this paper?  I just can't get enough!

The black and white patterns are amazing with a wide variety of stamp sets.  For this card I'm using the Dressed to Impress Stamp Set and coordinating All Dressed Up Dies.  Pretty cute, isn't it?

The Perfume bottle was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.  The image was then watercolored using an Aqua Painter and Smoky Slate and Melon Mambo Reinkers.  To add more interest I colored a few of the Heart Epoxy Shapes with the Dark Lovely Lipstick Stampin' Blend and adhered them to the front of the card.

There's still plenty of time to order your Golden Honey Specialty DSP!  Head on over to my store!  There's less than a month left in Sale-A-Bration and then the paper is gone forever!

Creation Station Make It Interactive

Good morning stampin' friends!  Today I'm hopping along with the lovely Creation Station Design Team.  Today we are sharing Interactive Cards.  These are projects that shake, spin, flip, twist, etc.

Interactive cards have always been fun not only to give but also to receive!  Cards that are interactive have an extra special touch!  My project today is a shaker card that was created using the Dressed to Impress Stamp Set and coordinating All Dressed Up Dies.

The little perfume bottle is seriously the cutest!  It can be colored to fit any color scheme.  I created mine to match the perfume bottles in the Best Dressed 6" x 6" DSP.  I then used the perfume bottle die to cut out the image so that it could pop up on the front of the card.

I added a tiny little bow using the 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon to the neck of the bottle.  Three Heart Epoxy shapes were colored using the Dark Lovely Lipstick Stampin' Blend and adhered to the front layer.

The Iridescent Sequin Assortment may not be the exact colors that are in the DSP but they look cute! They are definitely close enough for me!

Thanks for stopping by!  Won't you take a moment and join us on the next stop in the hop?  Up next is the amazing Kathy Kartak.
