Monday Montage #163

Hello and welcome back for another Monday Montage Blog Hop!  Are you ready to see all our fabulous projects this week?

Today I created a card that is filled with all sorts of fun.  There are different techniques, textures, colors, etc.
It's a card that's very "me".

I started by creating a Window Sheet template that was filled with circles (this is easily made using the Layering Circles Dies).  Next I placed the template on the top of a piece of Whisper White Card Stock and stamped the word image from the Very Versailles Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink directly onto the Window Sheet through the circle holes.

I then added flecks of ink using the following colors:  Crushed Curry, Basic Gray and Bermuda Bay and Frost White Shimmer Paint.  A thin layer of Embossing Paste was added in random places using the diamond shapes mask from Pattern Party Decorative Masks.

The leafy images are from the Very Versailles Stamp Set and were stamped in Pear Pizzaz ink and then fussy cut.  Pigment Sprinkles were used to create the colorful butterflies (Positive Thoughts Stamp Set).

I hope you have enjoyed my project!

#TGIFC261 Use Your Words

Hello there stampers!  It's Friday again and that can only mean one thing!  It's time for another #TGIF Challenge!  This week we are using our words- die cut letters, words, etc...

To create my card- I began by stamping the Breathtaking Boquet Stamp in VersaMark Ink onto a piece of Fluid100 Watercolor Paper.  I then heat embossed it using White Stampin' Emboss Powder and the Heat Tool.

Each flower was watercolored using the following ink colors:  Balmy Blue, Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody and Garden Green.
I love to watercolor with bright colors because it makes the colors so soft yet vibrant.  See that adorable little bee?  He's from the Botanical Prints Product Medley that can be found in the Mini Catalog.  Hurry!  It'll be gone before you know it!

Capture The Good

Hey there stampers!  Tonight I'm sharing a fun card created with a stamp set titled Capture The Good.  This stamp set is from the Annual Catalog and was inspired by one of Stampin' UP!'s Million Dollar Achievers- Tami White.

Isn't it fun?  I love the camera image and the little heart image that fits right over the shutter.  For my card- I began by stamping a sentiment in a few random places on the Whisper White top layer.  I then stamped the camera image onto a piece of Whisper White scrap and colored the image in.

To color the camera- I used the Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends (both light and dark).  The heart image was stamped onto a piece of Whisper White scrap and colored in using the Real Red Stampin' Blends (both light and dark).  It was then popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals to make it appear 3D.

I adhered two 1/4" strips of black/white striped DSP from the Botanical Prints Product Medley to the Whisper White layer.  A piece of Real Red 3/8" Cotton Ribbon was attached at the top of the card with a White Baker's Twine bow.

Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful Friendship

Happy Saturday!  It's a lazy Saturday here.  I have so many things that need to be done but today I just wanna play in my stamp room all day.  I've been using a lot of the stamps in the Annual Catalog lately and today is no different.  This morning I reached for the gorgeous Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set and some fun colors!

This pretty card showcases the roses from the Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set.  I stamped them in Flirty Flamingo Ink.  The leaves that accent were stamped in Pear Pizzazz.

This card has 3 layers- Vellum, Basic Black and Whisper White.  The sentiment was stamped onto Basic Black Card Stock ad heat embossed in White with the Heat Tool.

The top Whisper White layer was cut out using the Rectangle Stitched Dies.  The sequins are part of the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment. I love this gorgeous stamp set and hope that it will return again in the upcoming 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.
Thanks for stopping by!  Happy Saturday!

Wish For It All

Hello there!  I was looking through my stash of stamps trying to figure out what I wanted to make when I came across the fun Wish For It All Stamp Set.  I knew exactly what I was going to create the minute I pulled it off the shelf!

My favorite element on this card is the cake.  It's so fun!  I created it by using the Stamparatus and the following Stampin' Write Markers: Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Blushing Bride.  I stamped the image using the markers twice onto a piece of Whisper White Card Stock. Then I stamped it again only using VersaMark this time. I quickly sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds all over to make it super sparkly!  Mission accomplished!  It is indeed sparkly!  I cut out the Whisper White layer using the Rectangle Stitched Dies.

I embossed the top Coastal Cabana layer using the Doily Wishes Dies.  It's a difficult to see the Calypso Coral layer in the first picture so I'm adding the above picture (even though the banner looks weird in this pic) to show what it actually looks like.

Such a fun happy card!  Thanks for stopping by!  See ya tomorrow for another fabulous project!

Stampin' Fancy Friday: Fun Folds

Hey there stampers!  Today I'm sharing the fancy fold card that I created for the Stampin' Fancy Friday Challenge.
My card features the Tropical Oasis Product Suite and was super simple to create.

It's a tent fold card with a Window Sheet front.  I made the card base itself out of Soft Suede Card Stock and some Tropical Oasis DSP that I embossed using the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder.  If you don't have this embossing folder already- get it!  You will NOT be disappointed!

Next- I created the super sweet pineapple out of So Saffron Card Stock.  I fussy cut a second pineapple base so that the pineapple would look like it was filled in.  Using a Sponge Dauber and Soft Suede Ink, I carefully added bits of color to make the pineapple look a little more realistic.  The leafy part of the pineapple was created by die cutting a piece of Old Olive Card Stock and distressing it with Garden Green Ink.

The picture above shows the tent fold in the card.  I love this style card as it folds flat and will fit in a standard size envelope which can then be mailed without extra postage!

The pretty flower was stamped in Grapefruit Grove Ink onto a piece of Grapefruit Grove Card Stock and then cut out using the In the Tropics Dies.  The Grapefruit Grove aloha sentiment was adhered to the inside of the card and two Pearl Basic Jewels were added next to it for embellishment.  The Friend sentiment is from the Well Said Stamp Set and is adhered to the front of the Window Sheet.

I hope you have enjoyed my card tonight and are inspired to create a fancy fold card of your own!  Thanks for stopping by!

We'll Walrus Be Friends

Hello stampers!  Tonight I'm sharing a fun card that was created using the cutest stamp set in the Annual Catalog.  Don't believe me?  Check it out for yourself.  You'll find it on page 82!

This lil guy was begging to be watercolored so that's what I did!  I stamped him in Black Staz-On Ink onto a piece of Fluid100 Watercolor Paper and then colored him in using Smoky Slate.  The ice cube he's floating on is colored with Coastal Cabana.  I also used Coastal Cabana to create the watercolor wash background.

The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a piece of Basic Black Card Stock.  Then it was heat embossed using the White Embossing Powder and the Heat Tool.

I've embellished the card using the gorgeous Glitter Enamel Dots, White Baker's Twine and some Mini Striped Bermuda Bay ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by!

It's all Sunshine and Rainbows...

Hello there stampers!  Is everyone doing well?  I hope you're making the most of the temporary quarantine orders. I know I am!  I'm still working full time so I'm very thankful for that.  I'm also very thankful that I still can make time to do what I love on a daily basis.
My card tonight makes me happy.  It's bright, cheerful and filled with tons of fun!

It's not overly fancy but there are a few cool features!  Like the stitching.  I haven't stitched on a card in what seems like forever!  One thing hasn't changed- I still can't sew a straight line LOL.  Oh well!
How about the fun rainbow layer  To create that layer- I took 1/2" strips of card stock (Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Call Me Clover, Pacific Point and Gorgeous Grape) and adhered them diagonally to a piece of Whisper White Card Stock.  Then I used the largest frame from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to cut out a colorful layer.  So easy and oh so fun!

I wanted to keep the stamped images simple.  That's why there's a few confetti, 2 sentiments and a bunch of balloons.  The Noble Peacock Rhinestones aren't an exact match- but they compliment the card nicely!

Thanks for stopping by!

Monday Montage #162

Hello and welcome back for another Monday Montage Blog Hop!  Are you ready to see all our fabulous projects this week?

Today I pulled out one of first color combos that I fell in love with.  Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Basic Black.
I could use this color combination on every card and it would make my heart happy ❤.

I first began by creating a watercolor wash using Pool Party ink and an Aqua Painter on a piece of Fluid100 Watercolor Paper.  Next- I stamped the word image from Very Versailles in Black Staz-On ink and then onto the watercolored image.  The Pool Party splatters were added using some Pool Party Reinker and an Aqua Painter.

Two hearts- one in Calypso Coral Card Stock and the other from the Botanical Prints Product Medley add the main images of the card.  They were both cut out using the Be Mine Dies. The Love You sentiment is from the Well Said Stamp Set.

I hope you have enjoyed my project!

#tgifc259 Sketch Challenge!

Happy Friday!  It's time for  #tgifchallenge259.  It's a sketch challenge and a fun one at that!

I chose to create a rather simple card using the flowers in the stamped image to represent all the circle images in the sketch.

To create the floral image- I used VersaMark ink and stamped the image onto Fluid100 Watercolor Paper.  I then heat embossed it using the Heat Tool and White Stampin' Emboss Powder.  I carefully colored each flower using an Aqua Painter and the following colors:  Calypso Coral, Balmy Blue, So Saffron and Soft SeaFoam.
The floral image was then fussy cut and then layered on top of a Whisper White Ornate Frame.
Pretty, isn't it?

OSAT Blog Hop: Celebrate

Welcome!  I'm so happy you've decided to join us!  Today I'm hopping with the amazing OSAT team and we are sharing projects that are for a celebration.  I chose to create a birthday card.

My projects today feature the Birthday Bonanza Product Suite.  It's such a fun suite and it's sure to make the recipient smile.

My card is a shaker card filled with confetti in the following card stock colors:  Terracotta Tile, Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, and Mango Melody.  Yes- I punched every single confetti dot using the Twinkle Builder Punch.  It was a lengthy process LOL.  Just look how cute it is though!

The card will be for a coworker's birthday.  I always make my work family a card to celebrate their special day.  Every coworker of mine will receive a card created from the adorable Bonanza Buddies Stamp Set.

I love the little koala  He's the cutest!

I've also created a little treat box using the Perfect Parcels Dies.  The box has a belly band created from the Birthday Bonanza DSP and some Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.  I cut a thin strip of Mango Melody Card Stock and curled it on each end and added it just under the bow.  It's so fun!

This box is the perfect size for a gift card, some chocolate treats or other small trinkets.

Broadway Birthday

Do you have a stamp set that you love but haven't used very much?  I know I do and for me- that set would be the Broadway Birthday Stamp Set and coordinating Broadway Lights Dies.  They are so fun and can be found in the Annual Catalog.

To create this card- I began by making the colorful polka dot background using the Basic Patterns Masks, Sponge Daubers and a rainbow of colors!  (Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Call me Clover, Pacific Point and Gorgeous Grape)  It originally started out as a 4" x 5-1/4" layer but it wasn't what I had envisioned in my mind so I made it smaller by using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Next came the rainbow striped frame. I used both Light and Dark Stampin' Blends in the following colors:  Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Call Me Clover, Balmy Blue and Highland Heather.  I then carefully drew stripes across a Whisper White Card Stock scrap and die cut it out using the Broadway Lights Dies.

Up next was the fun part!  Stamping and die cutting out several fun images from the Broadway Birthday Stamp Set.
I thin it came out pretty cute!  What do you think?

Card Ingredients:
Card Stock:  Pacific Point, Whisper White
Stamps:  Broadway Birthday
Ink: Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Call Me Clover, Pacific Point, Gorgeous Grape
Tools/other supplies:  Broadway Lights Dies, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Silver Metallic Thread, Whisper White Baker's Twine, Stampin' Blends in the following colors (both Light/Dark): Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Call Me Clover, Balmy Blue, Highland Heather

Creation Station: "It's What's On The Inside That Counts"

Good morning stampin' friends!  I'm hopping along with the lovely Creation Station Design Team and today it's all about What's On The Inside.

My card is a tri-fold card and it's super cute!  I apologize in advance for the poor lighting.  It was dark outside before I was able to take my pictures.  When I have better lighting later today I'll retake the pictures.

The card itself measures 4" square.  I used the Layering Squares Dies to create all the square parts.  The top layer of the card features several fussy cut flowers and a perfume bottle that was watercolored using Daffodil Delight and Smoky Slate Reinkers.  If you haven't tried the Fluid100 Watercolor Paper yet- I suggest you try some!  It's awesome!

Lift the top layer to reveal a floral second layer.

This layer opens as well and shows the inside of the card.  The Kindness is Always in Style sentiment  as well as the flowers were stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then colored with Stampin' Blends (Lovely Lipstick (Light/Dark) and Petal Pink (Light).

Here is a close up of the front.  It shows a little better dimension in the pretty flowers.  The flowers were created by fussy cutting a floral piece of Best Dressed DSP.  I used a Stampin' Pierce Mat and the Simply Scored Scoring Tool to distress the paper.  Then I simply stacked the smaller flowers one on top of the other.

Thanks for stopping by!  Won't you take a moment and join us on the next stop in the hop?  Up next is the lovely Jeanna Bohanan
