Monday Montage #149

Welcome back! It's time for a Monday Montage Blog Hop.  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Did you know that Saturday was World Cardmaking Day?  I spent the majority of the day creating Halloween cards for a custom order.
Here's one of the cards for that custom order!  I actually created this card several weeks ago for the Y-Knot-Stamp-Everything Design Team but I haven't shared it on my blog yet.  The person I created them for wanted a card with a cat and a bright yellow moon.

The background of this card was created by using Embossing Paste that was colored Black and the new Basic Patterns Decorative Masks.  Thankfully it was just what my customer wanted!

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to use the links below to navigate through the hop!  Click the BACK button to see what the fabulous Charlet Mallett has created or click the NEXT button and head on over to the amazing Elizabeth Price and see what she has created to share!

Creation Station Black & White Plus One

Good morning stampin' friends!  Today I'm hopping along with the lovely Creation Station Design Team.  Please follow along on our hop to see what gorgeous projects we have to share with you!

I couldn't possibly be happier with our theme this month.  It's Black & White plus one.  Seriously?  These are like my all time favorite style cards!

To choose my stamp set- I literally closed my eyes and reached up onto my stamp shelf. Whatever I  grabbed was what I used!  I couldn't have picked a more perfect set!  The Raven.  When I originally bought this set- I had a totally different card in mind.  But I gotta admit- I adore this card!

My favorite part on this card- is the stenciled trees.  They are amazing.  I've waited forever for this stencil!  I can't wait to try it out with some Embossing Paste!  The raven image was stamped in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed using Black Stampin' Emboss Powder and the Heat Tool.

The close up shows a little more detail.  The black flecks were added using the Dark Basic Black Stampin' Blend.  To create the black pearls- I simply colored the sizes I wanted using the Dark Basic Black Stampin' Blend.  The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed black.  It was cut out using the Ornate Frames Dies.  The white bow was created using Whisper White Flax Ribbon.

Next up on this amazing hop is the one, the only Jeanna Bohanon!   Hit the next button to check out her fabulous project!
