Stampin' UP! Artisan Design Team blog hop- Basket Bunch

Hey there!  Welcome back to another Stampin' UP! Artisan Design Team Blog hop!  If you are hopping with us today then you may have arrived here from the fabulous Cathy Caines.  Isn't she amazing? As we are a group of 20 demonstrators from around the world- our blogs are written in many different languages.  Please be sure to use Google Translate so that you can follow along in your language.  You don't wanna miss out on any of the fabulous details!

For our hop today we could choose to feature any stamp set that came in our most recent box.  It was a tough call as we received so many fabulous sets!  I choose to work with Dragonfly Dreams.  Prior to this hop I had already created several cards using this set however because I adore this set- I'm still having tons of fun creating with it!

This is the first card I created for the hop.  The card itself measures 4-1/4" square.  There is a 3-1/4" layer as well as a smaller Delightful Dijon honeycomb.  The bumble bees were stamped in Basic Black Archival Ink, colored with a Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Marker then die cut using the Big Shot and coordinating Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits.  After the bees were cut out- I added several layers of Clear Wink of Stella to their wings and antlers.  Once dry- I adhered one on top of the other to give a more dimensional look.

My last card is also a 4-1/4" square card with a 3-1/4" layer.  The outer edges of the layer were gently  brushed along the VersaMark pad and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.  I then masked off a smaller square portion and began to stamp the image with tiny circles in several different ink colors.  Using the Big Shot and coordinating Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits- I then cut out the image with several small dragonfly's attached to each other.  To get just a single dragonfly- I simply cut one away from the others.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects for today!  If you're ready to head on to the amazingly talented Holly Stene then be sure to click the button below!
