Monday Montage #117

Hello there stampers!  Welcome back to another edition of Monday Montage.

Today I held my new catalog open house and tonight I'm sharing one of the make and takes that we created. This card has the look of a fancy creation however it was very simple so even my beginning stampers could create it.

The inspiration for my card came from the adorable Hot Air Balloon I created a in May for the One Stamp at a Time blog hop (see picture below).  I loved the look of the basket for the balloon and thought it would make a simple yet beautiful card.

Instead of using the Under the Sea Framelits to create the fish net- for the card I chose to use the fish net stamp from the Sea of Textures Stamp Set.  This way I could add the texture to the card without adding bulk.

Next- I used the Tranquil Tide and Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Markers to add splatter to the background.  The corals, seaweed, starfish and sand dollar are all popped up on Mini Stampin' Dimensionals so that they pop off the card.  My favorite element on this card is the Tranquil Textures Sprinkles.  They remind me of gravel in a fish aquarium!

Thanks for stopping by!
