Monday Montage 118: Graceful Garden

Hello there stampers!  Welcome back to another edition of Monday Montage.  Tonight I'm casing the catalog!

A few months ago at OnStage-I received the new 2018-2019 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog.  As I was anxiously flipping from page to page I saw a card that I just couldn't wait to CASE.  It features one of my favorite stamp sets Graceful Garden.

Graceful Garden was my first MUST HAVE stamp set from the annual catalog last year so I was thrilled that it was going to carry over into the catalog this year.  This set is just gorgeous.  The images are simple yet beautiful.

The card I cased is on page 23.  It features a few different colors than I used but I still think mine came out nicely!  The catalog card uses Lovely Lipstick and Fresh Fig for the roses and I have used Melon Mambo and Blackberry Bliss.

I love that the Metallics Sequin Assortment has iridescent sequins.  They look pretty when paired with bright pink!  You'll notice that my card is somewhat different from the one in the catalog in that along the left border of the watercolor layer- the person who created the card in the catalog used the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper.  Since I didn't have that particular DSP when I cased the card I used the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch and made a different border.  Still pretty!

Thanks for stopping by!

Still don't have your copy of the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog?  Drop me an email and I'll be happy to send one off to you!
