Merry Christmoose

Hey stampers!  I'm back with a quick Christmas in July card.  This card features the Merry Moose Stamp Set and coordinating Moose Punch.  If this set looks familiar to you- it's because it was available in the Holiday Catalog from Stampin' UP! last year.  The good news is that this set/punch was so popular that it's returning for a second season!

For this card- I created a Buffalo Check layer with the frayed edges.... Kinda reminds me of a flannel shirt....worn and faded!
To create the trees- I used the largest size tree from the Merry Moose Stamp Set and stamped it in Shaded Spruce ink.  Some of the trees were stamped at full strength ink and others were stamped off before being added to the circle.

A gold bow tied from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack  was added to the moose for a little bling.  A small array of Guilded Gems adorn the sentiment area.

Thanks for stopping by!

Whale Done

Hello there stampers!  I was asked a few weeks ago to create a "congratulations" card using the Whale Of A Time Product Suite for a person who loves the beach.  I came up with the card below!

I love this card because the entire front is a shaker card!  How did I do this you ask?  Easy peasy!  I simply cut apart a Photo Pocket Page from the 6" x 8" Variety Pack found on page 154 of the Annual Catalog.  The next step was to decorate the DSP background.  For this step- I just added several stamped images of fish.  I then filled the Pocket with a bunch of sequins from the Whale Of A Time Sequins as well as several images that I had fussy cut from the Whale Of A Time DSP.  I then used my sewing machine to stitch along the edges.  Super easy!

The front of the card was embellished using a whale that was cut from the Whale Of A Time DSP.  The sea grass was stamped in Granny Apple Green Ink onto the seaweed DSP (found in the Whale Of A Time DSP) and fussy cut.  Several seahorses were stamped in varying colors of Blackberry Bliss ink and adhered in the sea grass.

It's cute, don't you think?  I know the recipient loved it!

Monday Montage #169

Hey there stampers! It's Monday and that means it's time for another Monday Montage Blog Hop!

Believe it or not- I have a masculine card to share and there's no stamping at all on it!  Shocking!  I know, lol.

This card was created using the World of Good Product Suite which is located on page 24 of the Annual Catalog.
The card itself is a 5" square card featuring the World of Good Specialty DSP.  The bottom layer of DSP is a black layer with a brass grid.  The map layer was embossed using the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder.  I love this effect because it makes the map look vintage.

To create the letter board- I began by using a 3-1/2" square piece of Basic Black Card Stock.  Next- I scored in 1/8" increments to create the lines.  Then I simply adhered my letters!  No letter board would be complete without a frame so of course I had to create one of those too (complete with mitered corners)!

To mitre the corners- I simply cut each end of the In Good Taste DSP strip at a 45 degree angle and pieced them together using Foam Adhesive Strips.

The Right Triangle

Hello stampers!  I've still been playing around with the Stitched Triangle Dies only this time I decided to add in the coordinating stamp set.  It's called The Right Triangle.  For the first card- I created a series of trees by using two of the Stitched Triangle Dies.

All tree images on the first card were stamped in Whisper White Craft Ink onto a piece of Crumb Cake Card Stock.  I then cut the triangles out to create my trees.

The Christmas Cheer sentiment is from the upcoming August-December Mini Catalog.  It's called Itty Bitty Christmas and it's a carry over set from the Holiday Catalog last year.

For the second card- I again used the Stitched Triangle Dies however this time I added the Greenery Embossing Folder and the Stitched Stars Dies along with the Very Versailles Stamp Set.  Once again the sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set.

Thanks for stopping by!

Card Ingredients for both cards:
Card Stock:  Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Vellum
Stamps:  Itty Bitty Christmas, The Right Triangle, Very Versailles
Inks:  Whisper White Craft Ink, Light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blend Marker, Early Espresso

Hippo Happiness

Hey there stampers!  I've been playing around with a super fun stamp set this weekend!  It's called Hippo Happiness.  This stamp set has 27 different images.  It's a mixture of the cutest animals and some super fun coordinating sentiments.

What makes it even more fun are the coordinating dies!  They are called Hippo & Friends.  This is a pretty large die set.  There are 25 dies total and they cut out the animal shapes, flowers, and several other frame images.

Here's the card I created tonight using both the stamp set and coordinating dies.

To create this card:
  • Cut a piece of Whisper White Card Stock to 4" x 10" and score it at 5".
  • Using a Sponge Dauber and Magenta Madness Ink and the dotted pattern from the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks- sponge the background
  • Cut two 3-1/2" squares and score them in half diagonally and adhere to the card base on the back side only. The triangles will overlap on the front but that's ok- the belly band hides it.
  • Cut a piece of Magenta Madness Card Stock to 4-1/4" x 5-1/4" and adhere the dotted layer.
  • Cut a piece of Vellum Card Stock to 1-1/4" x 11" and wrap loosely around the card to create the belly band.
  • Embellish the belly band as you wish!  For my card- I used the Hippo & Friends Dies to create a framed image.

Super easy to create and fun to receive!  I hope you have enjoyed my project!

OSAT: Pretty In Pink

Good morning stampin' friends!  Today's projects were created for the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop.  Our theme this month is Pretty In Pink and we are creating projects with our favorite pinks.  I chose Magenta Madness.  It's such a bright and powerful color!  Pair it with Whisper White, Basic Black and Gold and you've got yourself a fabulous color combination!

The card is a very simple design but I love how it turned out!  On the Magenta Madness layer- I stamped the hydrangea image from the Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set in Magenta Madness Ink.  The tone on tone look works well for this card.

I then added a leafy image that was die cut from a piece of Vellum using the Forever Flourishing Dies.  Next up was to add a bit of ink splatter.  Again- tone on tone works great on this card and that was easily achieved by using the Magenta Madness Stampin' Write Marker.

Hello was cut using Gold Foil Sheets and the Playful Alphabet Dies.  The Adhesive Foam Sheets work great with the Playful Alphabet Dies as it allows the letters to pop off the page!  To finish this card- I added the friend sentiment (stamped using the Under My Umbrella Stamp Set) and added some Gold Metallic Pearls.

Did you notice the faux Channel handbag?  The purse was a cinch to create using the All Dressed Up Dies.  The DSP is the 2020-2022 In Color 6" x 6" DSP (Magenta Madness), Gold Foil Sheets and Basic Black Card Stock.
It was filled with some candy and Magenta Madness paper shred.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects for today!  Please be sure to join us on the rest of the hop by following the links below!

Stitched Triangle Dies

Tonight I'm back with another fun card created using the Stitched Triangle Dies.  If you haven't noticed- I'm kinda obsessed with them right now.  They are so fun and the possibilities really are endless!  The dies themselves are a set of 19 dies!  That's a HUGE set of dies!  There are 3 completely different sets of triangles in various sizes as well as a triangle border die, a grouping of small triangles and a triangle banner die!  Definitely a must have set!

For my card- I've used the dies pictured in the center of the above image.  These fit nicely when grouped together and I love the end result!

The card base is Coastal Cabana.  I cut several triangles out from 3 different sheets of DSP from the Playing With Patterns 6" x 6" Stack.  Next- I adhered them to a Coastal Cabana layer that measures 4-1/8" x 5-3/8".  As you can see from the picture- some of the triangles needed to be trimmed to fit on the layer.

For the sentiment- I used the Well Written Dies and the Well Said Stamp Set.  It's kinda tough to see in the picture- but I used Vellum Card Stock to make a layer around the birthday sentiment.  To do this- I simply laid the die onto the Vellum and trace the outer edge of the die onto the card stock and fussy cut it out.

Thanks for stopping by!
