YAY!!! It's time for day 4! Are you as excited as I am? I LOVE going through the hop and looking at everyone's beautiful creations. Those who went to Convention know just how crazy the Display/Artisan boards are! It's hard to actually get a good "up close and personal" look at the samples. Hopefully through this hop you have been able to see just how much work each of us has put into our designs. If you just arrived from Cathy Casey's blog- aren't her creations beautiful? I LOVE them!!
You can navigate through the blog hop by clicking the "next" or "back" buttons at the bottom of this post. Wanna take the whole tour? Just click the "next" button at the bottom of this post and continue around until you get back to me. It's as simple as that!
My fourth project is one of the scrapbook pages that I created of my daughter Amanda and her best friend Becca (Amanda is on the left and Becca is on the right) This particular scrapbook page was created on a 12" x 12" piece of Early Espresso card stock. I added a Very Vanilla layer which had been scored in a criss-cross pattern. I then added a strip of Cajun Craze card stock (which had also been scored in a criss-cross pattern) to the center of the page. The larger photo is a 5" x 7" printed in Sepia tones mounted onto a piece of Early Espresso card stock. It's hard to see from the picture but the oval picture is layered onto a larger Early Espresso oval which was embossed using the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.
I must apologize for the quality of the pictures. I know it's not really an acceptable excuse but I was down to the very last day that I could send my projects off and I was in a hurry. Unfortunately my pictures really don't do this page justice. It really is absolutely beautiful.
Thanks for stopping by again today! Did you enjoy my scrapbook page? Be sure to continue around the rest of the hop and see what the other finalists have to share! There is a TON of inspiration- you won't be disappointed!
