Good evening and welcome to Week #1 of Monday Montage Blog Hop! Every other week there will be a new hop featuring the amazing work of the talented Design Team Finalists. We have lots of amazing projects to share with you! Did you just come from Cathy Casey's post? If not- take the hop all the way around to see her beautiful work!
My project for today is a card. I was playing around with the idea of the old fashioned instant photos and this is what I came up with.
The little banner is made of Epic Day Washi Tape. I used the Petite Pennant Builder punch but only punched the very bottom portion of the smallest triangle. For the butterfly- I used the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die and cut out two butterflies. I folded them in half and attached them to the back of the instant photo frame. Pearl Basic Jewels were added to embellish the butterfly and opposite corners of the card.
Thanks for checking in! Be sure to hit the NEXT button to visit Dara Gloden's blog and see what she has created to share with you today!

It made me giggle when you called this an "old fashioned" type of photo look (because I remember those poloroids .... and I'm not THAT old!)! I love this collage-y look!! So very pretty! :)
ReplyDeleteHA! I say "old fashioned" because that's what my kids call 'em. I STILL have polaroids!
DeleteThis is so, so cute! This one is going on my "must case list"! What a great idea to put a butterfly inside your instant photo frame-love it!
ReplyDeleteI freakin' love this card! The use of different DSP and all of the colors are perfect!
ReplyDeleteNow this is my kind of card. It's full of fun colors, a teeny banner, a polaroid, a dimensional butterfly, splatters, and pearls--I love all that stuff and just how you put them all together. Smiles, Elizabeth
